Another part of the BBC programme prior to impact, they had a professional astronomer go out into a plateau well out of street lights and light pollution gave her a huge powerful telescope, she knew exactly where to look for Tempel 1, but couldn´t see it, apparently it was too low down in the hemisphere, so why send her there with the scope in the first place?!
