Death & the soul, will we ever experience the physical world again?
A lot has been discussed about the soul never ending when our physical body (container) dies.

My question is, would we ever experience a physical world again? - I can't imagine never experiencing the simple pleasures such as hugging my wife, cuddling a puppy, the taste of an apple (unless you believe in reincarnation).

Anyone pondered this?

Re: Death & the soul, will we ever experience the physical world again?
I am right there with you.

Anytime my thoughts drift to these considerations, I also feel to mourn any idea of a loss of physical touch.

The idea of other planes of reality, where disembodied spirit lives on within the ether, is a very difficult concept to grasp.

I'll read of how wondous this will be, but, I have trouble engaging my psyche to such a phenomena.

Reincarnation? Well, it has always been plausible to me--life just does not seem to make sense unless we get another chance to continue our quest to finally do it right.

Perfection. Perfect spirit.

Otherwise, there does not seem to be any reason to have a soul, a spirit with an expiration date.

As you stated, I can't imagine never experiencing those simple pleasures, either.

Thanks, glad I`m not the only one.

Reincarnation seems plausible to me as well, but I'd hate to come back knowing how evil the world can be - and where it is going.

Yes.

And I think you are looking "Inside" the box. Expand your thoughts. Don't limit yourself to your "current" wife, one puppy and an apple.

I would say that most of us have experienced a "physical world" hundreds, if not thousands of time before. It's called reincarnation. And not all of those reincarnations have been as "humans" (some "Soul" is a part of that "puppy", for example).

And if you do not believe in Reincarnation... what a boring, dull, existence for eternity: You live on Earth for ~70 years (more or less) and then spend eternity as an energetic mist, or worse, play a harp on a cloud praising "God" for all eternity?

So how many wives have you had, or puppies or different kinds of fruit? The Veil and Duality are part of our current human experience. You "know" all your past "lives" (and the "time" in-between) once you move beyond being "human". And the Ego that you have in this life does not carry on (for very long after you pass, at least, in so-called "death"), so it has no concept of "your" wife and since there is no Duality, there is no "Male" or "Female" separation within the Soul.

Up to a certain point, just because one is in a higher dimension, does not preclude being able to experience "physicality".

On the other hand, you can continue to experience a "physical" world through Ascension without having to jettison the "you" that was created through this life experience, vs. what we call "death". Or you can decide to Reincarnate in 3D or a higher dimension. But when you "Reincarnate", you are not the same "you" you are now (because of what you reincarnate as, where you reincarnate, etc.)

Yes. You will be what you want to be. You will have your own heaven.... and a shared (or public) heaven. Where you can socialise and meet peeps.

It depends on what you find important. Some people only want one lover/ mate. Though in saying that, if you were to pass before your loved one, and she 'moves on' taking another mate... what would happen then?

Re: Death & the soul, will we ever experience the physical world again?
When the Lord calls us we get a new body, a spiritual body.

I believe the spiritual reality greatly exceeds the physical one in all things.

Everything will seem more real then in the physical reality.

I think you don't want back after you've been there.
