Yep, cell phones. A time traveler just strolling around in front of people and cameras acting like nothings wrong - like people see and photograph time travelers all the time - no big deal.

How is the cellphone working, granted fine she took the phone with her through the power of time traveling and decided to use it to star in a charlie chaplin film....yup! such an important event that her ascended soul and higher self granted her the power for to use....but how the hell did she time travel cell phone antennas and sattelites for it to work....

It's a silent flick, who knows what is going on at that point... I doubt they even had 'closed sets' as really, who would notice?

In some older thread they dug out a model that would easily hold in your hand etc etc..

besides we all know that even if you had a satellite phone, you'd use one of those bluetooth headsets, like all the crazy people have as they talk to themselves walking around...

Seems the woman was just passing when he was filming, I believe she wasnt an actrees or something, was just passing by and got caught on the movie.

if someone manage to travel on time, I suppose that an "antenna" issue on a cell phone, could be part of that travel.

Deal could have been: 'travel on time to the past, cell phone included, tell us when to push you back...'

You would think the person would wear a wireless earpiece covered by their hair or collar knowing that people back then would find people holding cell phones odd.

It would be a graphic message to us in the future. Of course there is no connection. She/he is acting AS THE MESSAGE to the future.

It's a hearing aid and she is checking to see if it is working. Batteries didn't last long back then.

The concept involved is time travel; why are people so hung up on the device not being a cell phone? (because there are no towers)

They'll only consider current technology, and travel back into time from the present, but not from the future back into time?

I don't believe this is evidence of time travel at all, but I don't think the 'no cell towers' argument is relevant

The real problem we have with this footage is that its from a silent movie. How are we suposed to determine that what this person has is a cell phone just cause it appears she is talking?

She is definetly holding the device like a phone to her ear & talking to someone in the process. Watch the video before you comment on anything about the incident. Oh, by the way, what about a walkie talkie device? She/He could be in contact with another time traveler not seen in the movie clip.....
