At the first sight of the brutal death of an American, prisoner, some people fell into a frenzy of self-flagellation. They believed the videotape lock, stock, and barrel. There was no moment for pause except, a bawling scream, as if the killing of one American, had let loose a primordial scream to let off steam, pent-up after the storm of criticism over Abu Gharaib. However, pictorial news should be taken in broader context, no matter whose side is presenting it. The enemies of Muslims are light years ahead of Muslims with their bags of dirty tricks. Case in point, Victor Ostrowsky, a former Mossad agent writes in his book, “By Way of Deception, “ that a classic case of Mossad operations was the hijacking of the ship Achilles Lauro, which was purportedly hijacked by Palestinian fighters, and resulted in the death of a wheel chair bound passenger, Mr.Klinghofer. This happened at the time, when the U.S. and world public opinion was beginning to feel sympathy for the cause of the Palestinians. This killing received condemnation from the Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and it turned the American public vehemently against the Palestinian cause. Mossad works through surrogates, which are recruited from the same ethnic group, against whom the operation is being launched. Mossad does not send its own agents to do operations in other countries; they recruit locals and train them by being part of a religious group (read in By Way of Deception). Mossad’s motto is “By way of deception thou shalt do war.” So next time you see a particularly virulent Anti-American “mullah” exhorting people to damage American life and property, don’t count on it, he may have been duped by very sophisticated Mossad operatives, well-versed in Quran and Fiqh, with a beard and “mihrab” to boot. Mossad does not work through the usual suspects, they work through locals, whom they influence through there knowledge of the culture mores and religious practices of Muslims.
