Number 2 is the key. This is the one the government uses when it doesn't want to use the term "tax" because it's politically unpopular.

If you go over those very clear sources I laid out, you'll see that each one that doesn't concern the idea of "growth" of the economy, is a charge or fee that the average person will have to pay to balance the budget of the United States.

It is a "burdensome charge" to make someone pay more for products through Inflation.
It is a "burdensome charge" to make someone pay for Health Care they do or don't want... especially when that original charge is increased due to an underestimation of the actual costs from Government Sources or due to Government actions.
The National Debt is a charge that the entire population of the United States is going to have to pay. It is a "burdensome charge" that we, or our kids will have to pay, through inflation most likely.


You also put weight into articles that are clearly not taking into account all facets of economics. That makes those articles poor sources when trying to reference Economics. Perhaps it is YOU who should be checking out your facts again, before proclaiming that some under the table articles written are the God's truth and nothing else can be right.

Well, I'm considered middle-class and I pay more taxes now than I did before Obama took office. I also pay more for gas, medical coverage, food, etc.

Oh, and I almost forgot. While everything was going up, my wages were frozen.
