Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1146970Not if digestion is broken. I take lots of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes. I had messed up intestines and a messed up liver and I'm still not over the whole mess. The only way for me to get enough nutrition to function is to take concentrated, easily absorbable forms of nutrients while my body repairs itself. You can manipulate the body quite effectively with diet and supplements if you know what to take and what to eat. Medical doctors don't learn any of this, they only learn how to sell drugs, tests and surgery. Forgive your enemies, it messes with their heads. |

Recently I began taking organic apple cider vinegar and it has made a great impression. I feel more energy and I am losing weight with no change in diet. I down a tbs. with 4oz of OJ before every meal. |

Quoting: Antimonyi was just wondering This is a great question; I dunno if you would beleive me if I told you. I have just about any supplement yo ucould think of in my cabinet. SO many that I can't possibiloy take them all every day, so I alternate. Right now I'm taking Benfotiamine, Collidal Silver, Vipocetine, DHEA, Magnesium Glycinate, Hawthorn Berries, Garli and L-Lysine. I also have a couple different liver supplemnts that I take. I wish I had a little turnstyle so it was more easy to reach all of my vitamins. |

Vitamin D supplement is highly recommended. 90% of it is from the sun however, it's impossible to get enough due to jobs, winter, etc. Might as well take supplement. Rule of thumb is 1000 IU per 35 lbs of body weight. Magnesium too. most don't even meet 2/3rd of RDA. Take at least 200 MG to make up the difference meet the minimum. Maybe fish oil. Everything else from non processed food. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1146970Absolutely...and MUCH easier said than done. While I eat fruits, veggies, and much meat (beef, chicken, and pork) I also supplement with a good multi-vitamin, Omega3 fish oil, 1000mg C, 10,000IU D3, and protien shakes. And I feel GREAT!!! BunkerYou may want to add magnesium and extra vitamin D to that. Vitamin D can prevent flu, cold, cancer, etc. Magnesium is hard to get enough these days plus it's not even in your one a day vitamin. google vitamin D and flu. Cancer. Cold. Bone. Keep in mind that 80% or so of USA population is deficient in it. It works great only if you get enough vitamin D. take 5,000 IU a day. |
