He's brain fried for sure, at one time he was trying to blame his brother until he somewhat backed down from that ledge. What he doesn't understand is that 40 years and 40 million dollars isn't alot of money, especially if your trying to live the hollywood lifestyle. And 40 years is more than enough time to blow that money. Lets say that he got 100,000 dollars for as movie here and half a million their, after the taxes and the agent and manager fees he may MAY have had 18 to 20 million dollars over that span of time. And his "residuals" come up to be 500,000 a year (this was for last year many times it jumps up and down), and after taxes it's still hard to keep a lifestyle that he and his wife wants.

Also their is no need for a Star Whacking squad to go after stars. For one if they do die, their family members will get the residuals. And two, if they want to cheat the stars all they have to do is do it during contract negotiations.

When you make a lot of money, especially in entertainment, the leeches immediately swarm in. You suddenly get all kinds of calls from people that want you get in on a "great deal", "fabulous investment" or "lifetime opportunity".

You also get lots of lawyers and estate planners knocking on your door. Then, of course, the blood-sucking IRS has to get into the act, if there's anything left. It's non-stop and it's amazing that any celebrity ever keeps any of their money.

LESSON: Manage Your Own Money. Don't let some lawyer or accountant do it for you. With big dollars, it's way too tempting to skim a little off the top, or get you entangled in a contract you never really wanted.
