Yes many of us think that there is no difference to the 2 parties and in the end their agenda is the same. However, were being given 2 different paths to get there. One path is the socialist route the other capitalist. The strong minded and least influenced by the media americans choose the capitalist path, the weak minded easily influenced americans choose the socialist path.
