So far they have succeeded in pumping the stock market and commodities to bubble levels. The stock market is OK (until it crashes again), but higher commodity prices will just squeeze the companies that use them. They have no power to raise prices with all the unemployment, so they will have to eat it for awhile. In the meantime they will not be hiring any new people and probably be laying off more to cut costs. |
