You can't "take back America."

They control the ballot, the votes and the vote-counting.

Which mental midget seriously believes the dems and reps will just hang their heads and sadly walk into the twilight as the surging angry masses vote in a 3rd (and/or 4th) party?

FACT: most incumbents will sail to victory.

FACT: the media will have a couple fluff pieces about how "shaky" things were and the politicians are "scared." None of it will be true.

FACT: voters will thus feel they have a "real voice."

FACT: corruption will continue and increase.

This election is another loss for America.

What we need to do is stand once again as men and vote against the system by refusing to vote en-masse.

This election proves once again that Americans can be easily duped into voting for corruption and approving its uninterrupted flow.

Third? What happened to the last two and why didn't it produce that favorite political cliche: "CHANGE?"

Futility. Voting worsens and lengthens the corruption. If we don't stand against the system and force it to change as a nation, things will never get better.

I think we independents are just looking for someone who will provide leadership that looks a little less like using their government authority to help their insider friends raid our assets and prey on us at our expense. So far we haven't gotten that.

The Democrats were just ridiculous for putting an empty suit in the White House and expecting Reid and Pelosi to run the agenda from Congress, and then selling this to us as "change".

That's just insulting on top of the Injury of the Bush years.

If you ask me, the Democrats punched themselves in the face when they passed up the Clintons to put the Obamas in the White House.

If the Clintons were too moderate for the liberal left, that they were willing to put some guy in charge who never ran anything as any kind of executive, I hope the Democrats are going to be happy with both a gutless president and loss of control of Congress.

Obama was chosen by the banksters. Read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" (book on the Federal Reserve's history) if you don't grasp that.

We don't vote in our presidents.

Until about the mid-'90's I would have laughed at this analogy.
Now however, after this past 10 year fiasco, I have to whole heartedly agree. At the very LEAST there should be an option to vote "no confidence" on both parties.

Well, I voted today and Dare I say, I hope I made some of these crooks very unhappy.
We had paper ballots to use,not voting machines.

I love that idea. For that, I would vote - if the "no confidence" could succeed in bringing down the structure and force a constitutional convention.


Some people reading this might think I hate Scrump (who I call Chump) or the others who have expressed excitement to go vote. But I don't, at all. I approve of their enthusiasm.

Unfortunately, society directs that enthusiasm into a system of futility that promises "change" by "rocking the vote" and all those other cute little banalities but which does nothing except perpetuate the corruption.

We don't need change by electing new corrupt republicans or new corrupt democrats (which is why "vote them all out never works), but a change in the system.

A removal of the corruption.

Voting keeps the corruption in place and acts as a salve to the voter's conscience that they really went out and "did something" about their political unhappiness.

But such an act is spurious. Churlish, even. People with enthusiasm should direct that enthusiasm towards real change.

We know that "voting them all out" never works. We know it, know it, know it. But most of us go out and try it again and again and again...

Until we break the cycle, this corruption will continue and those who vote have themselves to thank.




GLP PREDICTION: nothing will change with this election. Even if the republicans get in, nothing will change. Oh, the media and the republicans will make just enough noise and grandstand just enough to make the voters think change is on the way. But nothing will happen.

SECOND GLP PREDICTION: 2012 will approach with all the email chain letters and voter outrage and the plan to "vote them all out."

MARRAIGE- Has ALWAYS been 1 Man and 1 Woman..Why? it protects children..The Government has a right to protect children WHY because a Mother and a Father has a responsibility to take care of there children that they bring into the world...Children have a GOD GIVEN right to a Mother and Fater's love and protection and when they don't get it the GOVERNMENT is involved....

GAYS have Civil Unions this law protects there *Rights*when it comes to posessions and wills.

Gays can have *Civil Unions* or they can marry just like the rest of us....

Google polling app misleads voters

A study Tuesday by Aristotle predicts approx. 700,000 households may have experienced errors.

Google can help you research candidates, watch their ads, poke fun at their gaffes and find out how they did on Election Day. But the site hasn’t exactly fared very well at getting voters to the right polling places.

One of the search company’s Election Center apps, which helps citizens find their assigned ballot boxes, has served up a series of errors that may have sent some voters to the wrong polling places.

A study Tuesday by Aristotle, a political technology company, predicts that more than 700,000 households in a collection of 12 battleground states may have experienced errors on the site that told them to head to the wrong polling stations.

“If you’re being sent to the wrong polling place, it’s a pretty big deal, especially if it’s toward the end of the day, and especially if it’s an election that’s closely contested like 2010...

How curious...

I live in a "typical" small town in W. Tennessee. I showed up to vote, and turns out, by neighbor and her son had volunteered for the day.

The volunteers all agreed that there was an abnormally high turn-out today, and no sign of letting up as of 4pm.

Basic Demographic was 50/40/10, White/Black/Hispanic. "Like 2008," another, older volunteer said. Meaning read, there. 2006, the place was slow all day. 2004 was middling.

My little town is surprisingly representational-- good mix of suburban/townies -vis- rural/farmers; good mix income-wise.

I suspect the Dems will certainly lose the Senate, but the House may well stay with the Dems.

There will be plenty of surprises tonight. Nothing worth shooting about.
