Sorry to break it to ya folks but voting is a farce. Even if the elections weren't rigged, even if the electoral college actually stood for the people, even if somehow you actually voted in someone as a result of your voting, that person is going to be a rich cock-sucker who was only nominated because he is in the pocket of TPTB. And if you somehow miraculously get someone in office who is even a little bit a representative of what you believe, they will make no difference at all. Give it up, voting is just a scam to make you feel like you have an influence on the government. Don't waste your time voting tomorrow because your actions will only be in vain. As long as the public keeps thinking that voting and protesting will actually change anything, we are doomed.

Well, sorry shill, but I am voting, because believe it or not, there is still a little bit of freedom to hold on to, and while voting may be just shouting into the wind, maybe someone will hear me. When you give up hope, you give up life!

I'm not giving up any hope, I'm simply pointing out how useless it is to vote. There are other ways to make a difference. Go ahead and vote, it's not my problem, but don't get your hopes up because you will make no difference at all. Do you really think that the elites who are in control are going to let a bunch of their slaves ruin their plans by voting? And BTW, your vote isn't a shout into the wind, it is a number in a computer that will make no difference when the numbers are changed anyway.

in my country voting is obligatory.

it takes 5 minutes from my house to vote. But I still didn't go cause I respect myself. I prefer to hold on to things that are REAL and that I can control in my life. The rest is designed to control your mind from afar.

whether candidate X or Y gets elected, not mattering his race or gender, he's just a puppet, a front-man for the gullible. He will tell people all the nice things they want to hear about the "future" -- nevermind if those things will be fulfilled or not. That is the role of the politician -> to feed illusions to the people. Not mattering how honest a politician tries to be, he cannot help to notice the sheep-like attitude of people. I mean, it comes to a point that it becomes difficult to resist exploring them.

There are several puppets in the puppet show, all of them with colorful clothes and funny faces fighting against each other with wooden swords, yet they are all controlled by one ventriloquist behind the curtain.

If you want to make a difference you must point out the man behind the curtain to people... Even better, go back there and bring him out.

... or simply ignore this bullshit. Sometimes playing the game is the same as feeding the game. The more you throw at it, the stronger it gets.

...And that's why these Elites have so much power. They throw us the ILLUSION of control with these Crime Family Candidates and the stupid, sheep masses lick it all up. They have to...they have no other outlet....and they don't have the sophistication to see past the veil. This hopeless poster believes his last hope lies in this tired and corrupt system. They don't understand the very fact that these Elites created the game and thus, make the rules. They use the MEDIA...as the MEDIATOR for the masses. We're poisoned by mindless entertainment, electronic gadgets and the empty food they feed us.

But good luck with these closely related political candidates promising utopia, lol!

I was going to post the same thread. Although, I'm gonna go vote. Not voting isn't any better than voting I beleive. Anyway, more people willrealize that no matter who you vote for, none of them will resist the temptation of money, power and greed, that influencing corperations hold over them. There's simply people out there with too much money. And this is what happens when one person has that much power.

Carlin suggested masterbation instead of voting.

I took a crap instead because I wasn't in the mood. Sometimes a good crap is almost as good as masturbation.

At least I can feel like I accomplished something.

I think it's strange that a few months after every election, this place shines the light on the false, left-right paradigm we are enslaved in. Then about a month before every election, it's as if those people go away and a new batch comes in that pushes the left-right paradigm. This time it's been so drastic that I can barely figure out what the hell happened here. It's like all the sudden everyone got stupid.
