Breaking! New eruption looming in Iceland-river level tripled overnight!

Some land has emerged today near Bali...new thread about it here half hr ago but can't find it now. Locals say it resembles the top of a volcano. News only in Indonesian at the moment, here's a link : [link to regional.kompas.com]

Its going be huge there is more magma under there now than the last one on iceland and it now makes katla look small.

Actually it is Katla that is the big bad one :)

to be fair, Grimsvotn erupts on a regular basis, but THIS time the tremor level is quite a bit higher than back in 2004.

I'm not too fussed about air travel being affected - just think it's interesting that alot of volcanoes are blasting off right NOW, sinkholes, eq's...and i don't mean mini-swarms of any of these things - we're suffering major catastrophes every month - globally.
Are the tectonics shifting in sync? What's causing it?

at other times the same volcanoes can also become mega volcanoes and actually cause long term damage..weather patterns changing, temps dropping, loss of crops..

I try to remain rational about prophecies but slowly when one sees all prophecies/science revelations converging and begin to slowly play out - well ...i can help but stroke my chin and let off a mighty HMMMMMMMMM!

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet.. Grimsvotn has the same VEI6 potential as Katla. I'm pretty sure the glacier is also quite large on top of it.
