Oh...and I've always thought Heather Mills was insane. Now I'm wondering if she's been made to look that way and is actually the only sane one!

It certainly explains a lot of the weirdness that surrounded the Beatles from 1966 on.

Its supposed to be George harrison's death bed confession but the writer said at one point - George was in India - instead of I was in India .

Also the songs recorded by Paul post Beatles - with Wings- are reflections of Paul's talent and the bass playing is typically Paul.I tnink nobody wants to give credits for such good materials to an Ontario policeman . Money is one thing but everybody wants to be famous.

I see in every picture the same Paul - every picture is Paul - we all look a little different at different times - lose weight/gain weight, smile/frown, happy/tense, morning/night - there are subtle differences and that is what is being picked up.

I think Heather Mills had in mind a totally different thing than "Faul" - Paul was into satanism with the beatles - could it possibly have something to do with that?

Could be. I was wondering that. A lot of people...me included....would be completely freaked out about the satanism thing. He's got this image of being a down to earth, family guy. Satanism would definitely shatter that.

Silly Love Songs is one of the greatest pop songs of the 70s. You may find the lyrics and message trite, but the display of three separate harmonies through the front and middle stages of the song, then blending them all together near the end is quite remarkable. The song sounds very simple, but it's not. McCartney wrote Silly Loves Songs as a wink and nudge to criticism from John Lennon amongst others. The wink was the lyrics. The nudge (to the ribs) was the musical structure. Lennon, talented as he was, was not in the same league musically as Paul. Silly Love Songs is an evolution of the kind of arranging Paul was doing with Paper Back Writer.

It's a cute hoax that won't go away because it was done so well. Breadcrumbs were being laid out three years in advance of the story "breaking." McCartney's looks, voice, talent and behaviour are consistent all along with a person aging and evolving. And as pointed out above, his talent certainly could not be imitated. It's easier to deceive people with a simple lie than an elaborate switch. The rumours didn't start until three years after the supposed death. Even then, they didn't start because of a noticeable change in Paul, but because of "clues" left in album covers and songs.

If Paul really did die in a car accident in 1966, why would the Beatles / management / record label go through all the trouble of finding a secret replacement.... then give hints to everyone with a trail of breadcrumbs? If they wanted it to stay a secret, there would be no clues on the records. If they didn't care to keep it secret, they would have announced Paul's death and introduced his replacement. This was a game of three card monty in order to sell more records, and it worked. Now the hoax is coming back to life because someone wants to sell some books... and probably a few more records again.
