It makes a loud rumbling noise. It just happened here now. It scared me too at first. I know that they do that in some places in Arkansas too. If it is happening in your area, you should see if there are any oil companies nearby that do that. If I were to make such a loud and disturbing noise, I would be cited for noise pollution, but I guess it's perfectly ok for them. |

I am located in North Bay Ontario Canada. I thought maybe I was the only one to hear this noise then found hundreds online posting about the same event online in North Bay. Now we do have a small airport here, but after living in this area for about 4 years I have heard the odd jet coming into the airport but nothing like this, the lenght, the pitch and the sudden stopping of the rumbling opposed to a faded out rumbling of a jet seemed very odd and really quite scary to me. Nothing has been confirmed at the airport yet but you can check out the posts here from the local news paper's facebook page [link to www.facebook.com] |

If a P wave refracts out of the rock surface into the air, and it has a frequency in the audible range, it will be heard as a rumble. P-waves (or primary seismic waves) are type of elastic wave, also called seismic waves, that can travel through gases (as sound waves), solids and liquids, including the Earth. This is the fastest kind of seismic wave, and, consequently, the first to 'arrive' at a seismic station... |

Quoting: DIGITALHAARP DOES NOT DO THIS KIND OF STUFF, YOU FOLKS KEEP BUYING INTO THIS CRAP. IT CAN ONLY HEAT THE IONOSPHERE, IT DOES NOT RUMBLE OR CAUSE QUAKES. IT IS FOR WEATHER MODIFICATION. The rumbling and other strange sounds which have no explanation are related to crustal movements. And its not going to decrease. These are going on in many areas of the world right now. south England has had it for weeks now, I have contacts there. They are erasing the earthquake drums a lot to covfacer up what is coming. Well, I debate you on your claim HAARP isn't an earthquake generator. This facility is capable of generating a broad band of frequencies at very high powers. These sort of signals generated into the ground can cause seismic disturbances. Oil and natural gas can be located miles underground with relatively low frequency and power signals. This energy resonates these fossil fuels and sees this resonance response which allows the technician to determine his find. If these relatively low frequencies can locate these fossil fuels, it doesn't take much of a stretch to consider what an extremely high powered signal can yield, particularly seismically. HAARP has many capabilities from the projection of images, to weather, mind control frequencies, project sounds, scaler weapon capabilities (turn any location into a microwave oven), etc. Those are probably samplings of what this machine is capable of... |

Quoting: TheGemini6180 827278Redmond WA near Microsoft, hear it when I'm in the house with silence, but not when I'm outside. Bremerton WA near PSNS. My wife and I have been experiencing the same phenomenon since we've moved into our house not far from PSNS. It comes and goes at seemingly random times, sounds like a deep rumbling but when you go outside you can't hear it. |

It sounded like a faint jet sound or a constant thunder sound... except it wasnt leaving the area.. I heard it just sitting up there for about 10 min. Quoting: DIGITAL I heard this the other week, Sacramento CA. Loudest Jet sound I have ever heard in my life. Scared the crap out of me. |
