I would argue that the economy is in the process of collapse. What is going to happen when these huge infusions of money stop? What happens if they keep going on? Either way, there are big changes coming for the economy and life is going to become much more difficult for many.

Tea Party founders want social security and midicare done away with as well as EPA mandates.

That's true, but they must have a plan and know how third world nations got into hyperinflation.
But all this bailouting on such a scale is unprecedented and very risky, I agree. And it all could very well still crash or some weird new system will be introduced or they succeed in slow crashing and eventually growing and getting the bailouts back.
