Yes I had a very strange dream last night, I had heard a military type of song "Ohh happy day, bombs over bay" and I was in a plane dropping the first bombs over a modern city, I was tilting the air craft twards the mirrored window buildings as to get a look at the bombs still attached to the bottom of the a/c. I thought the modern city could be san francisco, or L.A but I saw a double decker white transportation buses. The modern city was too new and bright to be the UK, perhaps UAE?

interesting... sometimes dreams about dropping bombs is really that you have something big and important to say to some people.

This sparks the birth of a new thread. I am thinking to start a thread on a scientific analysis of the book of the Secrets of Enoch. Have any interest in that?

Yes, but you won't get a scientific appraisal of the book here at GLP.

What makes you say that. I posted the thread but it is not getting much interest. What is your take on this group? I am new here.

I had an awake vision maybe two years ago, I am in Texas at our office I have windows across the southern side of our back part of our office. I was looking out side and suddenly I was caught up in a vision of men in black walking down the street on the Southern side. Lots of Men in black military dressed with guns, I was shocked. I prayed and asked what this meant.
The H> S told me the men in Black were soldiers for Texas defending Texas, that was all.

Interesting answer from HS. I guess you got exactly and only what you needed to know. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
The only prophetic dream I ever had was about 20 years ago.
In real life, the radio station was giving away tickets to some big concert in England. I'm in America and I daydreamed and daydreamed that I would win.
About 2 weeks before they announced the winner, in my dream I watched a name being drawn out of a hat.
Well, I was floored when it was time to really announce the winner because it was the person who I dreamt it would be. That was a little freaky.
As far as apocalyptic dreams go, I've had many over the years. The scariest one was when the aliens were landing and nuclear bombs were going off at the same time. I was viewing it from a distance. The city was on fire and I was trying desperately to find my daughter.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
I had a dream when i was approx 4 yrs old which showed a nuclear bomb drop off a beach horizon in the middle of the ocean. I saw the flash, then i fell to the ground, sand went in my mouth (i could feel it grit in my teeth)then the mushroom cloud and then felt the nuclear wind. In my dream i was much older but knew it was me. I grew up in pittsburgh, PA, in the woods and never saw a beach or sand until way later.

i've had a few very scary apocalyptic type dreams

many tornado dreams (usually before they actually happen)

a dream of a tsunami type wave and massive flooding in my area

a dream of some kind of sonic, electronic wave being blasted toward earth

a dream of nuclear fallout, being trapped in a room full of nuclear waste

and i'm sure there are a few others i can't think of right off hand

crazy stuff, never fun, hope none of them mean anything. a handful of my dreams have been prophetic

I've had a couple.

One had the clouds so heavy that they were crashing down to earth and people were running and trying to get in to buildings.

And another that was showed an old beat up rocking chair being pulled on a wagon. On it was pinned a note that said: "Very valuable".

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
My prophetic dreams have been very few and far between the last few years, but I had one last night where there was a plague raging in the community. I saw one of two children that I know develop this plague, which makes people act wierd (zombies?) but kills rather quickly as well.

I grabbed the other boy and his mother and we left the school we were at and as we walked towards home we saw animals affected by the plague so it wasn't just affecting humans.

As we came along other healthy people I told them the nature of the illness and began making a plan to organize.

Now mind you, I've never read any of the 'zombie' threads nor watched any zombie movies...so I don't have my head full of ideas, but I thought it curious that the people began looking something like a Linda Blair/exorcist look and they became very clingy and pushy, pawing at doors to try and touch you. damned2

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
Yes. More than I care to discuss.
I find myself praying/asking for less destruction and more Love these days. It does NOT have to be "destructive"! in order to move ahead. This is what we have been taught, but that is not the whole truth. Do we really NEED an armegeddon type scenario to overcome the problems we face as humanity? The problem seems to be that the more people focus on the possible destructivness, the more they unwittingly are bringing it into reality.

How about if we change the game! Focus on abundance and prosperity for ALL PEOPLE! Enough food, pure drinking water, homes for all people, clothing for all people, etc. To me it seems that the saying "We Are All One" has been hijacked. We are indeed all one-One Creation. But in this One Creation are many different levels of learning. How then can we overcome our differences? By realizing them!

The best I read was by Edgar Cayce explaining WHY we are different. Different color skin, different religions, etc..

Here is a link to the below information. Although this is just a starting point for the Root Races that Cayce describes.

[link to www.dreamscape.com]

Q. Was Atlantis one of the five points at which man appeared in the beginning, being the home of the red race?

A. One of the five points. As has been given, in what is known as Gobi, India, in Carpathia, or in that known as the Andes, and that known as in the western plain of what is now called America -- the five places. In their presentation, as we find, these -- in the five places, as man (Let's get the difference in that as first appeared (as thought forms) in what is known as Atlantis, and that as man appearing from those projections in the five places -- and, as has been given, from their environ took on that as became necessary for the meeting of those varying conditions under which their individualities and personalities began to put on form) -- one in the white, another in the brown, another in the black, another in the red. These, as we find, taking that form -- Would snow be the place for the black? or the sun the place for the white? or the desert and the hills for the white or the black? as were partakers of those things that brought about those variations in that which enters, or becomes as the outer presentation, or the skin, or the pigment that is presented in same.

Q. Did the appearance of the five races occur simultaneously?

A. Occurred at once.

Q. Describe the earth's surface at the period of the five projections?

A. This has been given. In the first, or that known as the beginning, or in the Caucasian and Carpathian, or the Garden of Eden, in that land which lies now much in the desert, yet much in mountain and much in rolling lands there. The extreme northern portions were then the southern portions, or the polar regions were then turned to where they occupied more of the tropical and semi-tropical regions; hence it would be hard to discern or discriminate the change. The Nile entered into the Atlantic Ocean. What is now the Sahara was an inhabited land and very fertile. What is now the central portion of this country, or the Mississippi basin, was then all in the ocean; only the plateau was existent, or the regions that are now portions of Nevada, Utah and Arizona formed the greater part of what we know as the United States. That along the Atlantic board formed the outer portion then, or the lowlands of Atlantis. The Andean, or the Pacific coast of South America, occupied then the extreme portion of Lemuria. The Urals and the northern regions of same were turned into a tropical land. The desert in the Mongolian land was then the fertile portion. This may enable you to form some concept of the status of the earth's representation at that time! The oceans were then turned about; they no longer bear their names, yet from whence obtained they their names? What is the legend, even as to their names?

Q. Are the following the correct places? Atlantean, the red?

A. Atlantean and American, the red race.

Q. Upper Africa for the black?

A. Or what would be known now as the more western portion of upper Egypt for the black. You see, with the changes -- when there came the uprisings in the Atlantean land, and the sojourning southward -- with the turning of the axis -- the white and yellow races came into that portion of Egypt, India, Persia and Arabia.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
fwiw:

I read dreams for a few years once the internet came around and found that very few people had dreams that we would call pre-cognitive.

Dreams of the normal variety are different from Precognitive Dreams ... but most people confuse the two.

Maybe it is because our language isn't specific enough, like with the word "snow". In English there is one word and it encompasses many different things. For Eskimo's, who have to differentiate snow conditions in order to survive, they have 50+ words for snow, but each describes a unique kind of snow or condition.

If what you are looking for with your question is Pre-Cognitive Dreams you have done a terrible job at framing your question.

Pre-Cognitive Dreams are not normal dreams at all ... and most people can tell the difference, at least that is what those who had accurate ones seem to claim when I read those sites years ago.

I have dreams, like EVERYBODY else, but mine have never had an accurate pre-cognitive component to them. For my case I think they are just my brain doing it's hard drive clean up and re-indexing while my body is at rest ... and I think that is the case for most people virtually all of the time.

what i am asking for is prophetic dreams and apocalyptic dreams.

prophetic as in:
–adjective
1. of or pertaining to a prophet: prophetic inspiration.
2. of the nature of or containing prophecy: prophetic writings.
3. having the function or powers of a prophet, as a person.
4. predictive; presageful or portentous; ominous: prophetic signs; prophetic warnings.

apocalyptic as in:
–adjective
1. of or like an apocalypse; affording a revelation or prophecy.
2. pertaining to the Apocalypse or biblical book of Revelation.
3. predicting or presaging imminent disaster and total or universal destruction: the apocalyptic vision of some contemporary writers.

hope this helps.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
... that were more than 'dreams'.

one ~ about 25 years ago ~ i was in a military like compound. captured when trying to make a call on a pay phone. taken to a room with about a dozen others. lined up and beheaded with a sword. saw my 'head' saying 'forgive them father'. woke up and felt paralyzed for about 5 minutes.

3 years ago ~ was in a small town center. saw a giant billboard in my mind ~ which said THE END OF THE AGE (though I never even considered or thought about this kind of stuff before a year ago). everyone in the open ran for cover ~ from something unseen and unknown. found myself in a large underground public bathroom ~ with several others. realized 'something' had changed in the world ~ and that neither I, nor anyone else, could PRAY. Just the realization of not being able to pray, filled me with such terror ~ that within the space of less than an hour, i wanted to die from fear ~ but realized I could not.

Then i woke up ~ realized it was a dream ~ and started praying.

Had never even thought about stuff like martyrdom and the enmd of the world ~ when these 'dreams' occurred ~ but within past year I sure have. I think the Noahide law is what will get me ~ as a b;lasphemer and a heretic. But if so ~ what better way to go?!?

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
I've had prophetic and apocalyptic dreams. some are recurring, some were one-timers that literally jolted me from sleep, leaving me sitting straight up and wondering, "what the hell was that?!?"

I won't go into much detail as I could easily fill the page, but many of the dreams involve airplanes, which are symbolic of forces in this world (in my dreams).

I've never had a UFO experience. I did have major trauma and a sort of NDE.

the different dreams are telling me different parts of the puzzle, they're not all the same. within the varying dreams I've seen everything from the face of God, looking right through me (in a way I'll never be able to explain) to jet liners crashing into landmarks (before 9/11). I've seen the worldwide events in a time line, speeding up and becoming more frenzied as time gets shorter.

like I said, I'm being very short on details. but one thing I do know is that these dreams did not arise in my own head. they are something else, being shown to me.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
I'll post the dream that I posted recently in another thread that didn't get too much attention. Maybe it'll be more use to you:

Had a very vivid dream last year that has always been on my mind, but I haven't really spent the time to write it down. I can close my eyes and still see every detail clear as a bell, but I'm having trouble finding the words to properly get every emotion felt in the dream; so bare with me. I may have run on sentences in trying to describe what I'm seeing. Here it goes:

===========
DREAM START
===========
The dream starts off with me driving from my house with a few of my really close friends to get something at a store in town (about 10 miles away). The air feels different on this day and the sky is overcast. The house I'm driving from feels like my current house, but looks different. There are some aspects of it that are exactly the same but the structure of the house is completely different; the lot my house is sitting on is also unfamiliar.

As we get out of the car when we arrive at a store, I look up at the sky and everything turns to night within seconds (in a quick fading effect, it wasn't like a light switch) and then it fades back to day. The entire sky continues pulsating from dark to light for a few minutes - I can feel a VERY faint vibration every time it starts to fade from one to the other and the vibration carries a very tiny sound with it.

During this time, a huge cyclone type of cloud comes down (it looks like a tornado, but it's not). I can feel my heart starting to race because when it turns dark, the cyclone gets pitch black. Imagine the darkest, scariest clouds you'll ever see during a storm, and that's the color of this cyclone. I feel that this thing carries so much power, that it strikes fear into me. The sky lights up one final time and the cyclone is completely gone, but everything around us seems to have been abandoned. There are stalled cars all around us, and we don't see any people. It's a very lonely feeling I'm getting.

We get back into the car and start to race home, swerving between all the stalled, driver-less cars. It feels almost like my car is the only one working. A few minutes later, we start getting pursued by a couple of other cars that attempt to run us off the road, but they end up spinning out of control off the side of the road in their failed attempt. I get home and park the car and immediately as soon as we get out of my car, the military surrounds us and our home with these very weird barricading vehicles. They are heavily armored hummers, but have been modified to link together when parked one behind the other. This link builds a VERY powerful wall. A soldier steps out of one of the hummers and says, "Sir, don't worry about a thing, we're here to help". I feel comfortable with them being here, but I'm cautious as to why they are protecting me as well.

I walk into my house and see my mom, dad, wife, baby boy, all my friends that were in the car with me, and some other family friends. I start trying to explain what we saw as I walked out to my balcony and started asking if anybody else had seen what we saw. Before I got an answer, I looked to my left and saw a cow standing on it's hind legs and looking towards the distance. I look at what it's looking at, and notice a flock of birds in the distance, heading my way. They start pecking me all over my body, and it hurts, but the cow tells me to be still, that they are ridding me of all my sin to prepare me for being God's soldier and for what is to come. The cow then tells me to drink milk directly from it (unpasteurized milk) so that the cleansing process can be fully complete and then I wake up.
===========
DREAM END
===========

In my other post, someone posted:

So I take it you are a Christian.

And my response was this:

Well, kinda. If you had to put a label on what I believe, it would be along the lines of a Christian faith, but I hate religion. I believe what I believe and call it my faith, and don't like to associate it with a religion label.

I don't push my belief on anyone and don't consider myself any higher than anyone else. It's a wonderful thing to have a true belief in anything nowadays, so for anyone who has a true belief in something, whether it's what I believe or not is something I love to see.

So again, kinda - but at the same time, not so much.

I've always been interested in understanding dreams and their meanings.

Thank you for your very detailed description of your dream. I felt as if I was standing starboard and experiencing it right along with you.

Usually, when we dream of our house, the house is a symbol of our selves, most particularly, our minds. This dreams seems very spiritual in nature, and perhaps a first of your callings to come to higher spiritual path. I am not a dream analyst, but like trying anyway. The fading to dark and then back to light seems like a representation of the choice or darkness or light. The forces of darkness are ominous and forecful in your mind. Other fearful scenarios start to unfold as you race back to your house. The military may mean a comfort but is intense in its delivery and are notorious for executing things without much explanation.

Back at your house your loved ones are with you there. The cow thing is similar to a horse image I had in a dream of similar nature. It is comical on some level, the cow, but sinister at the same time. Birds pecking is also mean and diabolical. If there are oppressive demons at work here, this would suggest the influence on this part of the dream, in order to deceive you. Or it could simply be your own psyche interpreting it this way.

Very special dream, very vivid. Was it in color? How old were you when you dreamed it?

Thanks for participating.

Still at work now, so this is just a quick response to thank you for your reply and to answer your question:

I was 24 when I had the dream, now I'm 25.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
I've been having apocalyptic dreams on a weekly basis since the beginning of October. On one of them I see three volcanoes exploding simultaneously, skies full of ash. I am running with my family into this teleporting machine conducted by a Tesla-like mad scientist. On another dream I see a fleet of huge red flashing orbs in the night sky, it happens very quickly. It's as if I had traveled to another dimension. When i woke up my heart was pounding heavily and I felt very dizzy. Yesterday i had a dream about flesh-eating children zombies (pretty disturbing) running around the forest. I fled to safety to the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and I was chilling there with other people dressed in green robes.

I have had numerous dreams of a nuclear explosion in the bay area of California. I have also had very detailed dreams of a nuclear explosion in the Raleigh-Durham Triangle (north carolina). In the Raleigh dream, I am either incinerated instantly, or I am blown out of my house and left for dead by a clean up crew that determines that I am unable to be saved.

I also have dreams that all of the power goes out, and I walk outside and any and all aircraft are nose diving toward the ground. Typically these dreams end up with me trying to survive as a refugee in a world with no electricity, being pursued by spacecraft that emit a sound akin to a skull-thudding heartbeat.

Re: Anyone experiencing or have experienced prophetic/apocalyptic dreams? (NEW DREAM 2/21/11)
I have probably had less bad dreams than I can count, and even less apocalyptic ones.

In fact, the two apocalyptic dreams I have had.. the first being (I can't remember exactly what day), but was in right before Sept/01. My dream was very vague but I do recall crumbling buildings. I woke up with the feeling that a lot of people had died, and had to walk around my house for 20 minutes convincing myself it was only a dream).

The last apocalyptic dream I had was 2 weeks ago, and it's funny this thread showed up since I was considering making one, was very similiar to my previous, but this time instead of buildings crumbling, it was as if everything was on fire in the middle of downtown (where I was).. Everyone was panicked and running for their lives, because I dare say, doom arrived. There was a real sense of we, as humans, were powerless and were all going to die immenently. If I had to take a guess, I had the sense of some kind of orbital strike.

Now I'm not religious, do not openly believe in aliens or god, but I'm open minded.
