A woman who died after being handcuffed and detained at the Phoenix airport was on her way to an alcohol rehabilitation program in Tucson, her family's lawyer said Monday.

Carol Anne Gotbaum, 45, became irate Friday when she was late for a flight and a gate crew didn't let her on the plane. Officers handcuffed her behind her back and took her to a holding room, where she kept screaming, authorities said.

How odd, because as civilians, convicted felons cannot purchase a weapon nor vote.

...and these days with unemployment so high, it is a lot easier to be a felon..say get behind in child support ect.

Monica Emmerson has publicly claimed that she was harrassed by TSA officials for "accidentally" spilling water on the floor.
This video shows it was no accident.


The whole story: Lady has 16oz cup of water, TSA tells her they can empty the container, or she can go drink it downstairs/put it in checked bags.

She flashes secret service badge & throws a fit saying she should be exempt from rules.

TSA takes her to the exit (you are watching the exit lane security footage) and as soon as TSA gives her the cup back (TSA escorts you to the exit if you have a prohibited item and don't surrender it), she pours the water on floor & tries to re-enter thru the exit.
