The moon is a hologram -----> why do tptb hide it from the people?

I doubt that a hologram would reflect light. And who has been running the generator since mankind recorded the moon being there for thousands of years.
Also, I have yet to see a really convincing hologram, one that you can't tell is a hologram.

the image from a hologram is created from light, you cant use light to block out light, least of all from the sun, you could project a hologram into the sky at night but you couldnt use one to block all the light from the sun out

If you read old books there are no references to a "moon" made before 1969.

If the moon were a hologram then how is we have tides on earth? Maybe, a giant tide maker at the bottom of the ocean.
