Unfortunately, these guys are a large part of the problem:

The number of federal workers earning $150,000 or more a year has soared tenfold in the past five years and doubled since President Obama took office, a USA TODAY analysis finds.

$150,000 7420 employees to 82,034 employees

$160,000 2852 employees to 44,898 employees

$170,000 1322 employees to 27,845 employees

$180,000 805 employees to 16,912 employees


171,689 federal workers out of 2.1 million federal workers make over $150,000 per year
