Airport Question?

Can you opt to not enter the restricted areas once you have been selected for special attention?

I mean, if you are in line, maybe the metal detector goes off, and they want you to be imaged, can you choose to just walk away and not fly that day?

Or are you automatically a suspect, and are under arrest till they are finished?
