Obviously those that know what happened and why aren't talking. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1163142if there was damage being caused on the ground by the launching of these mystery missiles we would have surely heard about it, right? Plus, the other thing that makes me think that the mystery missile launches are connected to the incoming meteors/fireballs is that there has been a huge increase in the frequency with which we are seeing the meteors/fireballs. The incoming meteors/fireballs also seem to be getting larger in size as time passes. WHAT are we heading into in space? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1163183 United Kingdom 11/13/2010 03:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i don't think they're to destroy IT, i think they're doing intermittent stand off nuke explosions in an attempt to slightly nudge it off course. if they launched them all at once, it would be undeniable, but by staggering them the way they are, they can play all us woowoos and shills off against each other, deny anything happened, call them contrails etc etc, and sit back and plan their 18 month stay in the bunkers if it all goes tits up. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1163188 Australia 11/13/2010 03:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree with this but its not any stupid planet X garbage but they are probably testing to see if they can shoot down asteroids. Probably not ones that are even headed towards us. But remember the Russians were speaking not long ago about actually testing to see if they can? And then these scientists holding an international conference to start finding ways to stop them hitting us? Well I think this is just part of that but they should tell us the liars. |

Further, "Jun 16, 2010 ... Draconid meteor shower: NASA is assessing the risk to spacecraft posed by the upcoming 2011 Draconid meteor shower, a seven-hour storm of tiny space rocks. ... suggests that the maximum rate will be several hundreds per hour. ...." When a large enough astroid hits it actually cooks the ntire earth because of all the debris that goes up and comes back down cauing friction. This is what they think actually killed the dinosaurs...not the actualy impact or the earthquakes or the tidal waves but the cooking of the atmopshere. The only safe place would be orbiting the earth until the cooking stopped.... |

What you say makes perfect sense especially given the fact that many nations (Russia, Sweden, Finland) have been and are currently actively building a large contingent of underground bunkers for their populations to use when the time comes. Plus there is also the Svalbard Global Seed Vault that is located underground on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen. [link to en.wikipedia.org] |

The Leonids Meteor Shower is supposedly already in progress (early) and it is set to peak on Nov. 17, 2010. [link to stardate.org] I wonder what the PEAK of this meteor shower will be like this year? |

ANNONYMOUS User ID: 825313 United States 11/13/2010 04:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Interesting conjecture. I just finished reading the post on the Can missles and before I read this thread I had the same thought. I started the "Official Fireball and Sonic Boom" thread for this reason if you check the postings there you will see that there were quite a flurry of siteings April through Aug then they subside only to pick up markedly in the last month or so. The current siteings seem to be much larger and closer and yet none have seemed to land in areas greatly populated. The missle firings which apparently never seem to land could well be an attempt to derail a disasterous hit. The other interesting thing to note is that there has been no reaction from ANY MAJOR FOREIGN POWER in regards to this. One would think either the Russians or the Chinese would be screaming about these launchings which leads me to believe they were informed and concurred. |

What about the rumors that keep circulating about there being an incoming asteroid that has a diameter of 1.2 Km? Well in reality there could be, and they would never tell us. But 1.2km isn't an ELE thats more like 60kms. But they will be doing this kind of thing in the future more anyway they have said they will. Whether or not these were actual threats from NEO's we will never know. But im glad they are doing it they should have been doing this testing preparing for this long ago. Asteroids are the biggest threat to Earth and human civilization. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 919411 United States 11/13/2010 04:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I thought of that also. Obviously those that know what happened and why aren't talking. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1163142I think "those that know" aren't talking because we are heading into an unprecedented large field of larger than usual meteors that we cannot help but encounter in our path and that the time it will take us to pass throuh is goin to be significant. Therefore, they are expecting potentially a lare number of human casualties? And, for many, there will be nowhere they can go to be safe? Have you ever seen meteor crater in Arizona? [link to www.meteorcrater.com] Meteor crater was caused by a piece of an asteroid traveling at 26,000 miles per hour that impacted the earth approx. 50,000 years ago. The problem with meteor crater is that the crater itself is it is nearly one mile across, 2.4 miles in circumference and more than 550 feet deep. The collision that rocked the American Southwest that caused meteor crater had the estimated energy of more than 20 million tons of TNT! and that was caused by just "a piece" of an asteroid... |

Quoting: Old MoneyThe French have even admitted that they also launched a similar missile this past Wednesday over France. Additionally, the three missiles that were launched Nov. 8th (last Monday) from Canada, all three of which citizens of Newfoundland saw and one of which they caught on camera, are thoought to have originated from French territory that is inside of Canada.
