I don't fly. I've flown twice since 2001.

What I have done is actually read the Patriot Act and demanded it be repealed because I KNEW then this shit was coming. Nope - I didn't hear jack or shit about those scanner things in the news or otherwise. Sorry, I was getting a divorce and had just lost my unborn twins. Must have missed that part. But as soon as I was able, I was right back up and at those phones and while I was writing letters and debating Constitutional Law with people who get paid more than I do and really don't give a shit what I think, they continued to piss on the Constitution and ignore those of us who cared.

And now we have to put up with what? You? Who the hell do you think you are? Contribute to this thread or shut the hell up because quite frankly, you haven't addressed the issue!

And as I said before - I've been singing NWO for the past 20 years, hot shot, and no one listened. Do you hear me asking people why they give a shit now? They give a shit now. That is what matters.

The Transportation Security Administration's demeaning new "enhanced pat-down" procedures are a direct result of the Obama administration's willful blindness to the threat from Islamic radicals.

While better tools are available to keep air travelers safe, they would involve recognizing the threat for what it is, which is something the White House will never do.

El Al, Israel's national airline, employs a smarter approach. Any airline representing the state of Israel is a natural - some might say preeminent - target for terrorist attacks.

Yet El Al has one of the best security records in the world and doesn't resort to wide-scale use of methods that would under other circumstances constitute sexual assault.

The Israelis have achieved this track record of safety by employing sophisticated intelligence analysis which allows them to predict which travelers constitute a possible threat and which do not.

Resources are then focused on the more probable threats with minimal intrusion on those who are likely not to be terrorists.

Here in the United States, these sophisticated techniques have roundly been denounced as discriminatory "profiling."

Allegedly postracial America has been unable to come to grips with the difference between immoral and illegal racial discrimination and the prudent use of the types of techniques that police on the beat use every day, which is similar to practices the customs service applies to assessing which packages being sent into the country are licit and which were sent by smugglers.

TSA believes an 80-year-old grandmother deserves the same level of scrutiny at an airport terminal checkpoint as a 19-year-old male exchange student from Yemen. This policy not only is a waste of time and resources, it denies reality...

The last time I flew was in 2005, and back then we had to take our shoes off and go through a metal detector. That was it.

A lot has changed in the airports in just five years. They're prepping us for sure.

As long as people keep flying and keep allowing themselves to be searched and scanned, nothing will be done. So STFU already or stop flying. You give them money to fly, you're paying for all of this and now you're bitching about it? Obviously it's not bad enough that people have stopped flying, they continue to do so and they will be searched, probed and mocked for their stupidity. If no one flew, they would go bankrupt very quickly. But hey, don't let a simple solution like that stop you.

They can't force you to do something you don't want to, obviously people want to fly and get searched, otherwise this would not be a problem.

Why not remove TSA agents from our airports and replace them with professional security personnel who are *trained* to be observant, discriminating, and discerning of actual suspicious behavior? At first glance, a *trained* security professional would see that ordinary American citizens are no threat to their fellow passengers.

Meanwhile, TSA agents couldthen be repositioned on the Mexican border where their standing around trying to look intimidating might do some good.
