To those people who think that a symbol can have only one meaning I say use some thought. If your limited view of symbols were true then every time we use the letter "t" we are referring to the christian crucifixion. But we all know this is not the case. And this symbol "O" represents a specific sound to writers and speakers, but to mathematicians it represents a numerical value.

Don't limit yourself so much! Liberate your mind! A rose by any other name or symbol still smells as sweet and is still a beautiful plant, and peace by any name or symbol still is PEACE!
