From my laymans understanding it shows an abrupt disturbance in the ionosphere.

The sky is filled with stars and galaxies that emit radio noise. Some stars are noisier than others. The riometer listens at 30 MHz to the noise coming to earth from the sky by using a directional antenna pointed upward. It rejects noise coming in from sources on the ground and responds mostly to signals coming from outside the ionosphere.>

I have been getting these awakenings for a few years. There is usually a presence in the room. You can feel that, can´t you? Sometimes it is terrifying, makes you want to get up and check the doors, search the house. I´ve gotten used to it. Some kind of warning, I believe.

damn! I woke up aroun 2:45 AM last night, also wide awake, took a piss and the slept again. Dunno what caused this. Normally I sleep through. Has been this way for almost 23 years now.

But getting back on the subject of this thread...I woke up at 3:30 a.m. this morning (EDT) with a suffocating feeling, like the air was lacking sufficient oxygen. Wasn´t like I was having a bad dream at the time or like I ordinarily suffer from asthma. Very strange.

I get this awul feeling like everything is running to fast and my whole body is going to tighten into one massive convulion. I had to really calm myself to sleep.

I slept like a baby hahahahaha

Yesterday was the first day of a week´s vacation for me...I spent the better part of the day, until late afternoon, ducking in and out of GLP while doing things around the house. I posted all over the place yesterday.

Well....let me tell you...after a day of reading these threads...I dreamt that the mountains here, in CHICAGO (well, it was a dream after all...) suddenly started to collapse and move like a tsunami of earth and rock, and re-form into new mountains.
Somehow I survived by putting up my arms so the mountains passed around me (!), and finally it stopped. I don´t know what the triggering ´event´ was, but I slowly climbed to the top of the nearest ´mountain´, and the city was destroyed, but there were survivors. I banded together with a group of people and we started on our journey of survival. At some point, we decided we needed a boat, because the lake, LAKE MICHIGAN, had relocated and was moving towards us. So...we found a really hot looking speedboat and decided to ´take´ it. We were then approached by another group of survivors who also decided they were going to ´take´ the boat.

At this point, we knew that the only way to ´take´ the boat would be to beat the crap out of this other group of people.
I started to beat up a woman who came after me, and I realized
that I had to keep hitting her until she stopped moving...I had to kill her. And I did. That´s when I realized that all bets were off, there was no guilt, I simply did what I had to do to survive.
I woke up suddenly, at 3am, feeling.......not good.

That´s what happens when you spend too much time at GLP.
