You are right, pure isn't the best choice of words. Harmonious may have been more appropriate.

And thank you for your point about duality.

Shame and grace may be one such duality for young mind to ponder.

However, of late, I am more consumed with another duality: Cruelty and Kindness.

I have become more aware that cruelty serves a purpose (for young minds maybe), it is 'the stick' that hold together society, while kindness is the carrot. This may seem obvious to most, but to an outsider like myself, it is a revelation.
