WTF!?! TSA announces they will use DOGS as a SCREENING TOOL

wtf? what do u mean wtf. would u be happier with patdowns and radiation frying machines? get a clue. not trying to defend the tsa, but using dogs is the best way to do this. if they can smell a terminator, they can certainly detect bomb material.

They have no intentions of deploying dogs.. they altered the statement to include the dogs and other techniques just so Chertoff will be able to say the scanners aren't the only method being deployed.

The dogs were just brought into the focus because of recent media attention.. by altering the statements they can say the alternative methods were there all along.

Must admit though this sure does bring back a modern looking vision of Nazi Germany doesn't it.?

You do know that dogs are used everyday to detain innocent people for hour and hours. If they dont like you the dog said you had a drugs. NOW you are a suspect and not only will be detained but your record pulled and interrogated. Pat down for sure.

It sounds to me like you are getting sick of hypothetical situations that have no basis in reality (i.e., Muslims being exempted from screening).

the concern is how this is casually mentioned and included along with the bodyscanners, forceful/invasive patdowns, and the wide open term "among others"
