Want war? Not really. What we want is JUSTICE. We are tired of living in a world where there are no consequences for entities which commit atrocities. Central banks which rape and pillage, but are not punished. The IMF steals the resources of Ireland. Politicians sell us out. Building 7 is hotwired and nobody gets in trouble.

Now North Korea apparently blows the hell out of some innocent South Koreans and nobody does anything. YES WE WANT WAR because there is justice to be served. All this is ASSUMING that the shelling this morning wasn't a false flag by the Chinese or the Americans. We may never know.

But to say we want war for the sake of loving blood and guts splattered all over the place is just flat wrong. Sometimes JUSTICE necessitates the obliteration of those who have done wrong, and in this instance, that is what I (and a lot of other folks here) want.

It is well whithin the realm of ''human nature'' to be peacefull and coopertive ,as well as predatory and competitive.

I was just in a "live chat" on Fox news and asked the moderator if we know if the military exercises were going to continue today, the response I received was:

South Korea, U.S. to start joint naval drill in Yellow Sea on Sunday SEOUL, Nov. 24 (Yonhap) -- "The USS George Washington carrier strike group will join Republic of Korea naval forces in the waters west of the Korean Peninsula from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 to conduct the next exercise," the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) said in a statement.

While the four-day exercise has been previously planned well before the North's "unprovoked artillery attack, it demonstrates the strength of the ROK-U.S. alliance and our commitment to regional stability through deterrence," the USFK said in the statement. ROK is an acronym of South Korea's official name, Republic of Korea.

South Korea's defense ministry issued a similar statement, saying the exercise is defensive in nature and aimed at increasing deterrence against North Korea.
The U.S. forces also plan to mobilize battleships including the USS Cowpens, USS Shiloh, USS Stethem and USS Fitzgerald, according to the statement. [link to english.yonhapnews.co.kr]
