TSA Forces Woman To Remove Nipple Rings With Pliers, Beats The Fuck Out Of Another For “Arguing”

I just can't believe that I am seeing this happening in USA.
I also can't believe the american people response to this. Yes, they are angry and offended, but that's it.

In almost any other country, this abuse of authority and this blatant disregard for human rights, would cause an immediate public reaction, not only angry people shaking their heads while watching a youtube video.

Two things I've seen americans do care a lot: Kids and animals (specially dogs and cats). I thought that a single video of an american kid being terrorized by being treated as a potential terrorist in an american airport, would be enough to make americans get out of their lazy chairs and react in a very, very strong way. I never thought TSA would get away with this and much less I expected some americans saying that this is necessary to keep them save.

This is a very sad situation. USA is not what it used to be.

I can't comprehend the senselessness of having someone undergo the humiliating and painful experience of pulling body piercings out with pliers.

I'm with you. When I was a kid there was nothing remotely like this going on. It was a free country.

It seems to me that if they're making you remove the upper they would make you remove them anywhere.

Here's the real kicker...if at that point you were to refuse, you would be according to the news reports subject to arrest and an $11,000 fine. That's all from the main stream news.

So if I had any lower body piercings, I think I might want to just stay away from the airport.

This may not be a "tipping point" but I do believe that the outcry and protest will be enough to make the airlines take notice...and thus the authorities.
