Yup, I was a teenage parent and I vowed the day he was born that I would not work a weekend because that was going to be 100% family time...now with three boys that hasn't changed...they learned to repair, paint, clean, and everything else that had to get done on those "free" days...but we loved every minute of it together... Then kids could find places to be, where someone cared about them. If people like this were everywhere, DHS wouldn't exist and kids could have second, or secure extended families around. Instead we have perverts trolling around for someone to abuse. Kids with nowhere and no one to turn to. I sure hope if anyone in my neighborhood or family was feeling so neglected they would come over and stay till they had some feeling of self worth. Kids are the real gold. Too bad so many people throw them to the wolves. |
