yes. Our town has streetlights that have motion detection sensors in some of them. They turn on and off as you walk up to them and turn off as you get past them.

happened today once again, while at a cafe, went to the loo, a woman was already waiting, once i walked in, she kept looking at the light flickering ... i wanted to ask, so this has been flickering for awhile? but i kept my mouth shut ...

suppose i should have asked! but did not ...maybe someone here will have a good solid answer for this ... till then flicker will flick as so it does ... hehehe

honestly, always seemed really weird to me when it has happened ... i have placated myself in the pass, understanding that when healing has occurred, it's usually to the electrical influences ...

This happens to me a lot as well, and not just that...electrical devices usually malfunction while im using them,(ex: i had a computer that exploded once when i touched it), i tried to investigate what could it be, and i found some interesting thing called SLIder's, you may want to check it out OP...

No only do the lights go out, but sometimes.... when they are off.... I come up to them and "wham" they come one. Also very funny to watch the reaction of people with me... as if they never experienced it before.

Somtimes... just to have fun.... when I feel the urge... I'll make a motion with my fingers and snap... and sure enough.... light goes out (because we're approaching one)... after we pass... enough distance... I snap again... light goes on. And people think it's a trick.

I have no idea.... I'm thinking motion sensors. =)

It is caused by quantum modulation of synaptic impulse-space disturbance into a street light that is soon to be broken, and thus vulnerable to an additional source of information that may act as a switch on/off event in the electrical circults.

*sigh* Allow me to enlighten you as to the nature of High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and/or High Intesity Discharge (HID)" street lamps. After a certain amount of operational time, the lamps get too hot and automatically turn off when they reach a certain temperature in order to keep from self-destructing. Just because you happen to be under them at the time, does not mean you had anything to do with it.

I don't walk around US cities much though, they are gay.
Go to Europe where people walk and the phenomenon will enhance greatly.
statistics, more streetlights walked by creates more odd shit.
