A magnitude 4.2 earthquake was reported Wednesday afternoon in central Oklahoma and reportedly was felt in Tulsa, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake occurred at 4:48 p.m. and was centered about four miles southwest of Luther and 19 miles east-northeast of Oklahoma City, according to the USGS. The earthquake reportedly occurred at a depth of 4.8 miles. A representative at the Oklahoma Geological Survey’s office in Leonard said the earthquake, which it recorded as a 4.0 magnitude, was felt in Tulsa.
