"Official Pentagon models assume it would take months to win the war at a cost approaching one million casualties or more, all told, including dead and wounded," Michael O'Hanlon, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, told AFP.

My father took 2 bullets to the neck during the Korean War and was in the hospital for six months recovering. He barely made it. He said it was Chinese troops that they were fighting in that battle. He was operating a quad 50 cal and said that it was like pissed off ants coming out of an ant hill. They would put out everything they had onto the field of fire and kill thousands and they would just keep coming. He is now 80 and really worried about this...he said fighting the Chinese would be a bad idea since they would just send millions of soldiers at us with no worry about causalties or losses.




The US military can't win a war against third worlders. There is no way we could win a war against north korea, they have allies. We already tried it remember. Damn, do they teach history in school anymore.


The US kicked their ass all the way to the Yalu River. Until General MacArthur was fired by the then President Truman because he wanted to invade China next. Which is when we basically fell back to the original line (the 38th parallel).

It wasn't time then (in the eyes of TPTB) to take China.

1 million dead wouldn't be 1 million dead TROOPS. It would be like 100 000 troops, mostly South Koreans, and 900 000 civilians.

And you killed a million Iraqis while losing 5000 soldiers and about 40 000 wounded.

But you didn't fought a real army, you fought fucking Iraq army who disbanded after a week.

If China comes in, they don't fucking care about losses and will just rush your ass with 5 million soldiers if they want to.

China isnt an old tech country. they have airpower, a large navy , advanced missle programs , a space program and an army that is said to be 4 million strong but was boasted at 600 million in the 60's...

You do know that they can level Seoul in less than a day right?

There's 22 million people in Seoul.


Just 20 minutes of firing by North Korea on Seoul would kill 500 000 people.
