WOW! >>The file contains over 1,300 anti-aircraft sites with range-rings (circles to show effective range of AAA) and about 400 artillery sites also with effective range ‘wedges’. Also a couple of hundred other military placemarks of DPRK. I’m pretty sure it’s got a fair claim to being the most extensive military Google Earth download on this curious country.<< DPRK_file.kmz [link to bbs.keyhole.com] Source Webpage with the google earth (DPRK_file.kmz) placemarks file download.... Anonymous Coward User ID: 900755 United States 11/26/2010 02:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hundreds of former South Korean soldiers held a protest rally in the border town of Paju on Friday, accusing the government of being too weak. “The lazy government’s policies towards North Korea are too soft,” said Kim Byeong-su, the president of the association of ex-marines. “It needs to take revenge on a bunch of mad dogs. We need to show them South Korea is not to be played with.” The president accepted the defence minister’s resignation “to improve the atmosphere in the military and to handle the series of incidents”, a presidential official said. Lee, tipped to be the new minister, is a career military man who advocates a “smart” military able to anticipate and react quickly to North Korea’s unpredictable moves. He is experienced in military operations and is a former deputy deputy commander of the US-South Korea combined forces command, the cornerstone of Seoul’s defence policy and its relationship with its biggest ally. |

South korea's "plan" up to now has been to wait out the North, sanction them to near death and wait for the regime to collapse. That plan isn't working, the North is going to make bolder and bolder moves. The ROK is going to have to act. |

How far are you from the 38th? Actually i am in Seoul. It is very calm here and people just continue with their lives as if nothing happens, especially the koreans dont really worry about it. Most foreigners i speak to are really scared about current events. I did however receive mail from my embassy that there is a civil evacuation plan in case things get worse.
