Just to note that the EC string was not about "money", per se, but rather about a perception I prefer in regards to the ease with which resources are avaiable to me. When one realizes that one can "manifest" anything that one desires, then money becomes less relevant. The "old" reality had people scrambling their entire lives in order to acquire a coin, while ignoring and corrupting things that were innocent and beautiful. IMHO, that is.

I have been using the string to release myself more and more from that old perspective. So, yes, I repeat the sounds and clearly imagine the icon string whenever I find myself slipping into the old habit of stressing over bills and income and such other related perceptions. Those belong to another era. I don't have to drag them along with me to this new dream.

I have several strings going for various ideas I have. I have been practicing "thinking" in EC, which certainly shows me a different world. I also seem to be much more lucid in my dreams.

Which raises a question I have: does dream self speak in EC? Is this the language used by dream self?

For now, that's exactly what I want to do with Ec...release old thinking patterns. Do you actually understand how the symbols flow from one to another? Or, do you just make up words and use the symbols that correspond with them?

As far as speaking in the dream world, my experience is that I just KNOW things. But, I"m not entirely lucid, either.

From the website:

"In our world, most of us generally would not say something like, "You are generous". Instead, we use a more open an engaging expression like, "I see you as generous".

Btw, any chance you'd join the behind the scenes activity?

The icons do not really "flow" one into the other, unless you purposely design a string to do it that way. Each icon stands on its own, with its own "story" to tell, so to speak.

When developing a string to describe a state or a concept, there are elements or characteristics to those states or concepts for which a single icon can be used to depict each element. Once the elements have been adequately represented by a multiple of icons, you then have a type of phrase or sentence that, when taken altogether, defines the state or concept.

I have not been using the icons to translate English words. The English language produces one set of perceptions, while the EC language produces another. I would rather dive directly ino the EC world.

I agree not to translate English words with the icons. And it makes sense that I don't need to consider that each icon flows into the other. That's the way I was using them at first, but I was only constructing a word and not a sentence or several sentences.

Let me re-state what you said above to make sure I get what you're saying. I have a desired perception. Some of it will not take much input but I would like a high output to it.

So, I look at the symbols to see what might fit. There may be one or several. I pick what I see fulfills the input/output I feel fits the perception.

OK, I hope I've got that so far. But here is where I don't get what to do.

Say there is just one symbol that really fits a desired perception. How do I then choose additional icons to go with it?

And if there are more that fit the low input, high output, then would I pick several of them for a string? And only those for the string?

I can see how a single icon could be sufficient representation of a value. Chaol has even recommended that we assign a value to each icon. I suppose that there may come a time when you may wish to refine a value to add or subtract some characteristics. That could be when you decide to append other icons in order to clarify a definition.

With our current newly-found interest in the EC language, I would say that we are having fun discovering. Let's continue to share our insights and experiences in order to get ourselves traveling in a straight line with all of this.
