CHRISTMAS HELP
Ok, I'll leave out all the details I included last time, as they some how pissed off the mods and got my post deleted.

The facts:
- Don't see my father often
- Fathers girlfriend hates me
- Girlfriend doesn't allow father to spend much money on me
- Father wants to know what to buy me for Christmas, and I have no idea what to tell him
- Needs to be between $50-$100 dollars

Anyone have any ideas as to what I can tell my dad? I really have no idea!

Thanks GLP

Honestly coolhand, you're an ass.
I'm asking for help in asking for something that would make my father happy. Not me, get it?!?! He's in an uncomfortable position with his girlfriend, and I don't know what to do. He asked what I want, I don't know what to tell him. He doesn't want to pay less than $50, and I know he can't do more than $100 or his girlfriend would have his hide. What I was trying to ask was what can I tell him? I want to make him happy without getting him in trouble with his skank girlfriend.

If you purely misunderstood what I was asking, then I apologize for calling you an ass. If you didn't, then you're still an ass.

It's not about making peace, I've been nothing but loving towards her (regardless of the pain it causes me). She hates the time that my father tries to spend with me, and everytime he sees me she snarks about it. Nothing to do with me, but I can't fix her. I try to see my father as much as I can, but sometimes it's months until he's allowed to see me.

edit: and btw, I'm taking HIM out for Christmas dinner, I try to do as much as I can to still see him.

Re: CHRISTMAS HELP
How bout your favorite perfume? Then every time you see your father you can remind him that he bought that for you and how you love it. In addition, you can send him greeting cards with a slight whiff of it on the envelope. There is nothing she can do about that, yet ... it will be a conscious and subconscious reminder of you.

I hope your father's girlfriend gets her insecurities taken care of soon. So many families ruined over things like this.

No offence, but money must be a bit tight if you are worrying about a $50-$100 dollar present. Don't put yourself in a position where you get dissapointed when he ends up getting a $20 box of chocolates.

I would be happy with a box of chocolate, I just want to pick something that makes him happy. He wants to do so much, but the girlfriend doesn't allow it :S
