WTF? "New Iphone Food Stamp App A Hit With Its Users"
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)(the new name for food stamps) announced the 1 millionth download of it's iPhone application: iSNAP. iSnap lets iPhone users apply for and use food stamps from their iPhone. iSNAP streamlines the application for food stamps from the traditional 15 page form to a single 15 screen iForm that can be filled out on the iPhone. Reviewers of the app testify to it's intuitiveness: "I was able to apply for food stamps while waiting in a long line at Starbucks."

The app also helps users select the types of foods to buy. Taken into any grocery store the app will show users what other iSNAP users bought so that they can buy the same items. "Now I don't have to wonder if I should buy wheat or white- iSNAP tells me other iSNAP users bought Hawaiian so I buy that too" writes one reviewer.

Makes perfect sense to me...can't afford food but have an iPhone. At least the gov hasn't started giving out iPhones to poor people, YET.

I can understand people needing stamps...

What I don't understand is people on stamps that have cellular service!!! (then top it off with an Iphone)

Maybe you all should stop judging others. I have an iPhone plus food stamps. My iPhone was a gift for Christmas. Not all of us abuse the system. Stop judging and assuming the worse about everyone! Before you post some people should at least do some research to see if what they are replying on is true. There is no App for Iphone or any other phone that allows this. This is just another attempt at making something out of nothing. I say for the first and last time, there is a great need for food stamps in our society and yes there are people that abuse the system (there are wealthy people that abuse the system, which is how some of them become and remain wealthy)but on a whole the people that get food stamps need and it is due them for being Americans that have fallen on hard times.

Actually there is an app I seen it on a paper at the foodstamp office it's for wic and snap benifit a. Don't remedy what it was though sorry! ::/
