And how the founding fathers regulated corporations. So where does FOX and Beck get the arrogance and the idea that small government and no corporate regulation is socialism, unamerican and not something the founding fathers stood for? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1119751Ha, good points OP. I am reminded of the Ronald McDonald trademarking of "I'm Lovin' It!" as a trademark. Isn't that a hoot!? I mean just the notion of that being theirs, by law, is totally fucking hilarious on its face. Period, end of sentence, end of statement, that itself is funny as hell. But then when you consider the ultimate irony of it, that McDonald's as such, part, parcel and whole, is the total anti-thesis of love, and therefore, cannot EVER BE "LOVIN'" ANYTHING, it becomes almost pathos-inducing. And then, the next level higher, is that really, the phrase, "I'm Lovin' It", is actually on the lips of the CUSTOMER, so it is the "love" or the stimulus/response/comfort feelings, which they are mocking us with, and which they then deny to all of us. So in fact, those of us who go to Mcd's (and yes I do, and I enjoy their food) though we are possibly even "Lovin' It", we are disallowed from using the term in any business endeavor, meaning, we cannot allow the word "Lovin'" or any derivation of that phrase, to our endeavors, or to the feelings that our customers may have. Whatever our friends feel when they enjoy our product, they best not be "Lovin' It", else Ronald will get the courts to destroy them. Yes, this thing at which you are tilting, allows some fucking scary red and yellow clown to own all the "Lovin'" in the world. |
