WORST CASE SCENARIO COMMUNICATIONS METHODS

I WAS CHILLIN HERE READING ALL THE POSTS, SOME INTERESTING SOME NOT, BUT DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING ALITTLE DIFFERENT. Did anyone ask why we went from analog to digital with all our airwaves??????? Ok, so incase someone didnt I suggest some people go and get the older version of things such as handheld or a cheap radio tower for their home in CB quality. When things are analog they cant be tracked, whereas digital equipment has a constant signal when being used. CB radios end transmission and broadcast when the operator releases the talk buttons. IF the interenet goes down wouldnt you all want a method of como "IF" the internet was cut off???? how many of our younger siblings and or friends have or know how to operate a CB radio or even a fuckin walkie talkie???? I have a set of analog Motorola radios from the mid 90's and even though they use batteries they can run off a plug outlet or again in worst case scenarios a very small solar panel for basic use up to 20 miles. The thing that made me remember this was ironically "I AM LEGEND" when he emitted a signal to the city. It was an AM signal that was constant but not digital so that if people scanned their radios it would atleast pick up the signal.Im not a DOOMER but you could never be causious enough. Communication is a necesity now adays and I as some of you see too many people that rely on internet or their phones to the point I dont think they would know how to reach someone at long distances if TSHTF here at home.
