I have heard of cases of fathers killing their children as a way to get back at the estranged wife especially if their is another man involved to step in as a dad. I hope this is not the case.

It seems strange to me that if he were really serious about committing suicide that he would be dead. I don't think he intended to kill himself. Maybe he staged it.

It is more common, I think, for parents to abduct their children when they fear losing custody. Maybe he took the kids to an out of-of-state relative/friend to hide them. He apparently tried it before. I hope this is the case rather than the former.

Those poor children. I hope they find them alive and well. I just don't understand how people can do such horrible things to their own children. It's bad enough when strangers do horrible things to children let alone the parents doing it.
