Keep in mind that Bart Ehrman used to be a fundamentalist Christian, until he started researching Christianity and eventually became a historian. Over time he realized that the gospels were not historically reliable and that they were full of contradictions and discrepancies. Eventually the evidence was too much and he became an agnostic and abandoned Christianity altogether.

This and many other comments have shown that he is only in disagreement with God and His Word because God doesn't do things according to Dr. Ehrman's prescription of how this world should be ran.

The simple example in the above linked statement should always be easily answered by any professing Christian.

He thinks to claim the Word of God is contradictary only because he can't hear the truth it presents because it is not saying what he "thinks" it should say.
Dr. Ehrman needs to take off his modern social man-works salvation glasses and read the Bible as written, which never allows for the schemes of men to win the day.

Thus the need for a Savior, for all have fallen and gone his own way.

Anyone SERIOUSLY interested in the orgins of the New Testament should learn about the Roman Piso family - the Jewish Historian Flavious Josephus' family - the same family that rules the world today.
