Check out the Kabbalistic Tree of Life to see how the God-head provides purity, AND the reflection, or corruption of that purity, rings bells of sacrifice worship. And then, Jesus dying at the age of "33" sacrificed on a "cross"? Human sacrifice worship? *raised eyebrows |

And the Lord said to Satan, Where are you coming from? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1175412 United States 11/30/2010 12:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Marcionite Christians did in fact believe that God of the OT was evil and that Jesus came to Earth by the real God to try to correct the situation and offer the real truth. "Marcionism - Early Christian dualist belief system that originated in the teachings of Marcion of Sinope at Rome around the year 144;[1] see also Christianity in the 2nd century. Marcion believed Jesus Christ was the savior sent by God and Paul of Tarsus was his chief apostle, but he rejected the Hebrew Bible and Yahweh. Marcionists believed that the wrathful Hebrew God was a separate and lower entity than the all-forgiving God of the New Testament. This belief was in some ways similar to Gnostic Christian theology; notably, both are dualistic." [link to en.wikipedia.org] |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1152463 United States 11/30/2010 12:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ive often wondered about the word "God" and "Lord" in the "Bible." I definitely dont think the bible is talking about One singular entity when it refers to "Lord" over and over and over. Its all lost in translation. Where the fuck did people get this idea that "the Bible" is infalliable. Everything physical IS corruption and has been corrupted. God word is Spiritual, get it how you may, through the Bible or any other ways. But i have to say from my own experience the Bible has LED me to the truth, not to say that i derived the the ENTIRE truth from the bible. It MAY work for some people, but i have seen many people stray from living a good or righteous life because they think they are "DOOMED TO BE A SINNER ALL THE DAYS OF THEIR LIFE" but that "JESUS WILL SAVE THEM!" I think if you are saved and believe in Yeshua in THE HEART CHAKRA then his love would permeate through your entire being and your actions and words would be a reflection of that infinite love. Not the condemning dogma of believing everyone is "the devil and is going to hell in a hand basket" Fools cannot see the way that religion creates separation, which is what "hell" really is |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1123721To abolish the false, Devil-worshiping pseudo-religion of Christianity. It is not really a "pseudo-religion". Religions do not need to be based on anything real, or even promulgate good, and good behavior, to be real religions. The value of a religious belief is in its property of communal binding. The fact that Christianity, Islam and Judaism derive their "god" from an evil beast masquerading as a god does not make them "pseudo". |

You are using the words of the book to prove the truth of the words of the book. You need to realize that the people who wrote the book had in fact been duped by an evil thing that called itself "yahweh". This evil thing needed people to worship it and sacrifice animals to it. They already had it in mind that this evil thing was actually their "lord" when they wrote the book. |

Catharism and Gnosticism is closest to what I believe, but any label does a disservice to describing actual spirituality. Look into Kabbalism and Yaldabaoth for more evidence of the dualistic demi-urge. Also, is Satan an entity, or is "Satan" a way of being/thinking and a suitable context (duality) that allows for that way of being? This is where things start to get very interesting OP, peace be with you. |
