why would you need food stamps
support if you got a job?, isn't food stamps for people who
do not have a job and need food to live?.

No, in my state, Washington, you could earn up to 1147.00 a month and still be eligible for 43.00 a week in food stamps.

And if you're not working you have to be actively looking for work to qualify.


What if you don't earn anything?, they would tell you go get

a job before we give you food stamps?, which in that

case it wouldn't make that much sense going into that

support program since you already working.


I always thought the program was for people who didn't have

a way to get money for food, not if you could buy food but

need that money for other living expenses.
