They're different. I personally don't like salvia, but I have friends and associates that swear by it. I vastly prefer DMT.

I would not recommend either to anyone who has had a dark experience. This is why I turned away from all of that. Also, it's not at all the same as a concious spiritual revelation. I don't know. I'm always fascinated by the possibilites and my previous experiences... but some doors are meant to be opened naturally in our own time. Not a big fan of forcing it...

Though, let's just say.. if I ever were to make another journey of that sort, I would go with DMT...... lol. So I guess that is a good indicator.

People just really need to be aware of what we can manifest and once a discovery is made, it cannot be undone.

I know too many people that took such an intense experimentation much too lightly and are paying for it dearly. :(

It's pretty fascinating that they cannot really correlate it's brain effects. Absolutely no classification for what it actually does.....

Thinking back on the experience, I had a bad injury and was in a lot of physical pain. I think I took it far too lightly and was not prepared. Not a good time.


I won't pass on the experience, but I also won't be ready anytime soon. Hard coming from an impulsive and extremely curious person.

Inner-space is outer-space, it is a self sufficient universe in there. Possibly with actual sentient beings. i would suggest people try to tune up or banish the negative ones before embarking on a DMT jump. Prayer, Meditation, Charity, Humility, etc...

I had four eight inch long gashes going down my rib cage. I was in too much pain to go to a party I wanted to go to, so I thought 'Hey great idea, I'll try salvia tonight, woooo!'

My husband was looking after me while I did it and we decided to 'go' separately.

anyway... as soon as I exhaled I was dragged by my sternum, down and to the left through the floor [this happened to me once in an OBE as well]. I was spinning on an axis, like I was on a gigantic wheel torture device thing, except, something was in the way and every time my head passed a certain point on the axis something would 'punch' it. I had a distinct sense of embarrassment, like some thing was laughing at me. Uninvited would be the prevailing impression.

The wound in my side felt like it was being pounded with a gigantic dull hammer.

All I could hear was a very deep vibration, which I also felt, overwhelmingly, in every part of my body. Like sub-bass, with intense vibrations. The auditory aspect was very frightening, but I don't remember it well.

I remember still being very verbal, in my mind, begging for it to stop, screaming, and I thought I was talking to my husband the whole time. We had this entire conversation that never occurred. I was completely silent and wide-eyed for the whole thing.

I was down there for an eternity, but it was actually like 3 minutes. Funny how time truly doesn't exist in that realm.

My husband decided not to try it based on my experience.

Mushrooms are essentially naturally plant based active DMT anyways. Psilocin and Psylocybin are chemically similar to DMT and Serotonin. All the drugs do is interact with your serotonin receptors

Yeah, read the rest of my posts. Came out the wrong way.

I have had good experiences with the wheel, under salvia and other substances as well (LSD, Mushrooms). It is not something to be fucked with, nor are salvia or mushrooms or other spirit entities. They must be treated with utmost respect. Any attitude less than serious and reverent will definitely take you to a bad place.

Had a few experiences with NN-DMT.. absolutely life changing experiences. But i will not be going back, for a couple of reasons:

1) I was confronted by a malicious entity on my first experience. Definitely wasn't a part of "me". Told if to fuck off and it went away though.

2) What can be triggered from without can be triggered from within.

3) Relating to point 2, i had a proper astral projection experience through meditation, and it was nearly identical to my NN-DMT experiences. I have found others who've done both DMT and astral projection to say the same thing.

IMHO i think the psychedelic community is way out of its depth with DMT. Obviously people are going to use it regardless of what i say, but my advice to you is simple: Treat the experience with fucking respect. This is NOT a bit of shrooms or acid.. you're messing with a powerful biological mechanism (Kundalini/Chakra system) and if you do it for the wrong reasons it will turn you inside out and fuck you in the ass.

Alan Watts said it best in regards to psychedelics in general, "Once you've gotten the message, hang up the phone".

well yes of course, all of that is true BUT salvia has much more of propensity to go badly (for many) for some bizarre reason.

I agree with almost everything you said.

Too many people take this as a replacement or alternative to concious work which is actually where the real reward comes in. So few are really given pure access via the chemical route. You already have to be 'unlocked' so to speak.

That's probably why it's still legal.
