Today is the National Day of Romania

On 1st of December is the National Day of Romania. In this year, many Romanians don't celebrate with joy their National Day, because the country is in worst economic and financial crisis in the past decades. VAT was risen to 24%, wage paid by state were cut by 25% and so on. Despite the bad weather, cold, snow and rain, thousands of people took part at parades and take a lunch offered for free, especially the poor and aged ones. Hoping that a modest and poor country will not go even low, because EU is set to save Portugal, Spain and Ireland, in meantime Romania is on the last place available on the boat who can live the "EuTitanic".
