I just got an email from that Egyptian archeologist, that supposedly said that the pyramids contain alien technology...
Thread: Egyptian archaeologist admits pyramids contain UFO technology

This was spread all the conspiracy forums (including here, starred and pinned), and general UFO blogs, where everybody discussed exhaustively, if indeed there was such statement, supposedly made by professor Dr. Alaa el-din M. SHAHEEN, of Cairo's University, or if it was another hoax from Michael Cohen Michael J. Hill aka Michael Lee Hill (is the same GLPs Michael Lee Hill??) and that notorious bullshitter UFO blog...
I did track the professor's email down and did contact him, explaining about the alleged article, that even was posted on Facebook's Cairo's University page (and wiped off after the professor had received my email) and pushed him with this data, to see his reaction:

* Mean Distance to the Sun: Half of the length of the diagonal of the base times 10^6 = average distance to the sun
* bullet
* Mean Distance to Sun: The height of the pyramid times 10^9 represents the mean radius of the earth's orbit around the sun, or Astronomical Unit (AU). [5,813.235565376 Pyramid Inches x 10^9 = 91,848,816.9 miles]
* bullet
* Mean Distance to Moon: The length of the Jubilee passage times 7 times 10^7 is the mean distance to the moon. [215.973053 Pyramid Inches * 7 * 10^7 = 1.5118e10 Pyramid Inches = 238,865 miles]
* bullet
* Sun's Radius: Twice the perimeter of the bottom of the granite coffer times 10^8 is the sun's mean radius. [270.45378502 Pyramid Inches* 10^8 = 427,316 miles]
* bullet
* Earth's Polar Radius: The Sacred Cubit times 10^7 = polar radius of the earth (distance from North Pole to earth's centre) [25 Pyramid Inches * 10^7 * (1.001081 in / 1 Pyramid Inches) * (1 ft / 12 in) * (1 mi/ 5280 ft) = 3,950 miles]
* bullet
* Earth's Polar Radius: The Pyramid embodies a scale ratio of 1/43,200. The height * 43200 = 3,938.685 miles, which is the polar radius of the earth to within 11 mi.
* bullet
* Radius of the Earth: The curvature designed into the faces of the pyramid exactly matches the radius of the earth.
* bullet
* Equatorial Circumference of the Earth: The Pyramid embodies a scale ratio of 1/43,200. The perimeter of the base * 43,200 = 24,734.94 miles, which is within 170 miles of the equatorial circumference of the earth.
* bullet
* Earth's Volume: The product of the pyramid's volume and density times 10^15 equals the ratio of volume to density of the earth. [10,339,823.3 cubic cubits * 0.4078994 * 10^15 = 4.21760772 x 10^21 cubic cubits = 259.93 x 10^9 cubic miles]
* bullet
* Earth's Mass: Mass of the pyramid = volume * density = 10,339,823.3 cubic cubits * 0.4078994 earth density = 4,217,497. The mass converted to pyramid tons = 4,217,607.72 * 1.25 = 5,272,010 pyramid tons. Since the mean density of the earth was defined as 1.0, then the mass of the earth is 10^15 times the mass in pyramid tons = 5.272 x 10^21 pyramid tons = 5.99 x 10^24 Kg
* bullet
* Speed of Earth around the Sun: The Pyramid Inch times 10^8 = the speed of the earth around the sun, circa 2600 BCE
* bullet
* Mass of the Earth: The weight of the pyramid is estimated at 5,955,000 tons. Multiplied by 10^8 gives a reasonable estimate of the earth's mass.

These values, and many more, are embedded in the dimensions of Khufu pyramid and only could be obtained by astronauts or space scientists, through satellites, computers and spacecrafts.
I just told him that the mainstream scholars keep these secrets from mankind and that they know that the pharaohs didn't built Giza pyramids. And at last I asked if he really told something about alien artifacts inside the pyramids, during a conference... He just returned my email today and that's his answer:

IMAGE ( [link to img545.imageshack.us] )

I removed the links in the original message, by obvious reasons, but anyway his email is in his page of Cairo's University. I cut off the full message from the jpg file, but basically it was as I described above. He definitely denied had said anything about that by his few and harsh words, I noticed he just got pissed about my email and the whole thing, and maybe even got scared, avoiding to speak more. I mean, he could elaborate more on telling me that he didn't say shit in none conference, but he seemed pressured and just did quick me off.
I highlighted the part where he missed the denying adverb and I think it was not a grammar error. I think he got hit by my email. Plus maybe he lied about no longer being DEAN of Cairo's University, 'cause his personal page of University's website, says he IS DEAN of Cairo's University.
Maybe is just a lack of updating or maybe he wanted to disconnect himself from the high body of the University... Who knows...

[link to fa-arch.cu.edu.eg]

By the lack of reliable source, all suggests that the article that started this whole thing is a hoax, however IMO, the professor's reaction was pretty suspicious.

Nope! I'm 100% sure he missed the "not", but like I said, not by a grammar error, but maybe he was just nervous about answering my email. You know... When you know SOMETHING about what someone is asking you, but you can't talk about it.

Actually I think he just got way too surprise, by that email. Maybe he didn't even know about the original article or if, by a remote hypothesis, he REALLY said something, he didn't expect that the shit could hit the fan, so fast.

The "Michael Cohen" of that UFO forum, posted this article as "Michael Lee Hill" and "Michael J. Hill" on Facebook's page of Cairo's University. Unfortunately they wiped off the article, so that you could see it.
Seems pretty obvious that he uses lots of different names to spread his fake articles.

Hey UndercoverAlien - thanks for the post. If you check on the original post, I did research myself, I also sent an e-mail a few days back and received no answer.

However today I called the Department at Cairo University and spoke to a very friendly lady there. He is no longer Dean since November 2009, but still is Master and Administrator of the Archeology Department.

His reply does not surprise me. Most egyptians react this way. They have kind of a pride when it comes to the pyramids and believe strongly it was THEIR ancestors who built them. To speak to him has to be done with utmost sensitivity.

His secretary was so kind to take my mobile number and told me she will call me tomorrow when he is in the office so I can speak to him. I guess I will have to be very careful with my questions to not piss him off and just get hung up on. If I am indeed lucky enough to speak to him on the phone, I do speak some arabic, so maybe I can get some information as to what he did say exactly and what his position is on this subject. I think I would be able to sense if he may be hiding something or choosing his words too carefully.

A man in his position has to be careful what statements he makes in public. He's also working closely (sadly enough) with Dr. Hawass...that says alot right there.

Thanks for the post OP - great work.

I don't know what he looks like, 'cause he never called my attention. Everybody knows that there's someone on GLP posting as "Michael Lee Hill". I don't know if is the same Michael Lee Hill that you are talking about, but the guy supposedly named "Michael Cohen", that posted the hoax article of professor Shaheen on that bullshitter UFO forum, ALSO posted it on his Facebook's page of Cairo's University. But like I said, they removed it after my email. Michael Cohen posted as "Michael Lee Hill" and "Michael J. Hill". Ain't making it up. It was there, one or two days ago.

I meant with pride also the general egyptian public, not only professors, scholars etc... ;). Every egyptian I've met if you mention aliens in connection with their pyramids you get a look as if you're nuts or they get annoyed. Of course a Professor like Shaheen would be ridiculed if he'd say that in public and loose all credibility. I wonder if he had a slip of tongue about something he's excited about. They're doing some ongoing digs at the Giza Plateau, basically finding new things every day.

Do you know what is weird?? Most of modern Mexicans have the same defensive behavior, when they face the theory that aliens built their pyramids and megalithic cities. By the other hand, Asians are well more minded open when dealing with ancient aliens theory.

*1992-93, Assistant Professor (on Leave), UNESCO 's Fellowship, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

FIELDWORK EXPERIENCE:

*Participation in the field work at the island of Bata, Marsa Matruh, Egypt in the expedition of the University Museum , University of Pennsylvania directed by Prof. Dr. Donald White, 1987.

MEMBERSHIP:

*Member of the American Center in Egypt (ARCE), New York, USA

*Member of the High Committee of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Ministry of Culture, Egypt.

As you see, he worked for UNESCO's Fellowship, on Philadelphia and is member of "American Center in Egypt", New York. He definitely speaks English.

Re: I just got an email from that Egyptian archeologist, that supposedly said that the pyramids contain alien technology...

* bullet
* Mean Distance to Sun: The height of the pyramid times 10^9 represents the mean radius of the earth's orbit around the sun, or Astronomical Unit (AU). [5,813.235565376 Pyramid Inches x 10^9 = 91,848,816.9 miles]
* bullet
* Mean Distance to Moon: The length of the Jubilee passage times 7 times 10^7 is the mean distance to the moon. [215.973053 Pyramid Inches * 7 * 10^7 = 1.5118e10 Pyramid Inches = 238,865 miles]
* bullet
* Sun's Radius: Twice the perimeter of the bottom of the granite coffer times 10^8 is the sun's mean radius. [270.45378502 Pyramid Inches* 10^8 = 427,316 miles]
* bullet
* Earth's Polar Radius: The Sacred Cubit times 10^7 = polar radius of the earth (distance from North Pole to earth's centre) [25 Pyramid Inches * 10^7 * (1.001081 in / 1 Pyramid Inches) * (1 ft / 12 in) * (1 mi/ 5280 ft) = 3,950 miles]
* bullet
* Earth's Polar Radius: The Pyramid embodies a scale ratio of 1/43,200. The height * 43200 = 3,938.685 miles, which is the polar radius of the earth to within 11 mi.
* bullet
* Radius of the Earth: The curvature designed into the faces of the pyramid exactly matches the radius of the earth.
* bullet
* Equatorial Circumference of the Earth: The Pyramid embodies a scale ratio of 1/43,200. The perimeter of the base * 43,200 = 24,734.94 miles, which is within 170 miles of the equatorial circumference of the earth.
* bullet
* Earth's Volume: The product of the pyramid's volume and density times 10^15 equals the ratio of volume to density of the earth. [10,339,823.3 cubic cubits * 0.4078994 * 10^15 = 4.21760772 x 10^21 cubic cubits = 259.93 x 10^9 cubic miles]
* bullet
* bullet
* Speed of Earth around the Sun: The Pyramid Inch times 10^8 = the speed of the earth around the sun, circa 2600 BCE
* bullet

Perhaps saying he could say, indicates he could make money of such things?

Nope! I'm 100% sure he missed the "not", but like I said, not by a grammar error, but maybe he was just nervous about answering my email. You know... When you know SOMETHING about what someone is asking you, but you can't talk about it.

Re: I just got an email from that Egyptian archeologist, that supposedly said that the pyramids contain alien technology...

Thanks for the post OP - great work.

i think its a language thing. what is obviously intended is the absurdity of saying such a thing, simply on the face of it (self evident). therefor yes, it was meant in the negative.

Re: I just got an email from that Egyptian archeologist, that supposedly said that the pyramids contain alien technology...
Just so you could have a conversation starter if the alien thing goes south, you could ask about the only engraved inscription, supposedly over the original entrance, is the glyph for "horizon" and there is a mark or "boss" over the entrance to the King's chamber, that has been described either as a stone handle, or maybe it is a reference to the sunrise as it is a half circle.

Then there was some recent revelation that one of the original explorers of the air shafts found some wood and little stone ball, taken to England, maybe connected to the wood that the robot exploring the shaft saw further in.

One last thing I would ask a guy like that, if he heard of a stele that describes a Moses like figure that led a rebellion and supposedly took the "Holy of Holies" from the pyramid, along with stealing gold and jewelry from the Eqyptians. Supposedly he was a foreigner that was allowed in their priesthood.

He probably will just be ticked off no matter what, his boss Hawass is full of himself.

Please tell us more about this. Michael Lee Hill has been on multiple tv and news shows. He is also a musician and we all know what he looks like.
Where is the connection coming from that Cohen is Hill? Please tell us more....

Re: I just got an email from that Egyptian archeologist, that supposedly said that the pyramids contain alien technology...
So, I literally just walked into the door, after work and first thing I did was log into GLP.
Unfortunately I was not able to speak to him today. I basically stared at my mobile all day, waiting for his secretary's call. When I didn't get a call just before 3pm, I decided to call the office.
This time a different lady picked up, and I asked for his secretary, and she told me she already left. I asked for Dr. Alaa Shaheen, and she told me he already left 2 hours ago.
I asked her if he will be back Saturday or Sunday, and she told me Sunday. I asked what time, she said he usually comes around 11am and leaves at 3pm.
So I will have to try again Sunday. Tomorrow, Friday as well as Saturday is weekend, so everything's closed. It's not unusual for many people leaving work early Thursday (except for me apparently...).

I hope I'll have more luck Sunday, I'll just try to call between 11 and 3pm as I am able to during work.

Regarding the discussions about his english, I am sure he speaks english, egyptians in general aren't great with spelling, even in arabic, so the e-mail doesn't mean his english is not good. The staff at the University speaks mostly arabic, his secretary spoke some english, the lady today only arabic.
