Deja Vu= Reincarnation proof?
I was talking with a friend of mine this morning about reincarnation among other spiritual things, and she said to me those feelings we have of deja vu is proof of reincarnation in that we've been in those places, and we've lived before. Was quite interesting. Thoughts?

I seen somewhere that Deja Vu is an altercation of your timeline. Things were changed then you were put back seconds before the altercation. Thus explaining the 2 second, "I've seen this or been here before" reaction.

Re: Deja Vu= Reincarnation proof?
My explanation to Deja Vu:
Everything in the universe is predictable, it has a equation and can be foreseen. It is just so complex to get that equation that we would need 10^1000 year to discover and put that to work, we dont have this knowledge today.

that said, deja vu is a glimpse of a prediction that your brain managed to calculate and foresee, so you had that image of the deja vu on your brain before.

someone will understand a little of my thoughts, later :)

and it makes sense somehow

Re: Deja Vu= Reincarnation proof?
I always figured it was how your mind processes information. Whenever you see, smell, hear or feel something it is "filed" into your conscience mind as to what it is. Sometimes the mind will accidently files an experience into the subconscience and then the next second
you get that Deja Vu feeling because you in fact already have experienced it moments before - it was just filed into the wrong part of your mind.

Thats just my 2 cents - however, I guess anything is possible.

I've had such strong deja vu along with a couple vivid future memories and dreams, that I sometimes think I must have lived this same life before.

1) Only this present moment exists, you have always been in this moment.

2) "The Past" and "The Future" are our limited perception of the shape of the universe.

3) We evolved to see only the past for the same reasons that our eyes only a limited arc, i.e. we would be disoriented by omnivision or omnimemory.

Yep. I was going to reply with the same thing, but someone already covered it.

So there is your answer.

There is no such thing as time. And because everything is happening all at once, funny little things like this can happen where you feel like you've experienced something before.

Re: Deja Vu= Reincarnation proof?
I believe time is circular and we experiencing everything at once, all that ever was and ever will be.
So re-incarnation is an illusion because the entire universe is contained with in us and us within it. It is an illusion that anything is seperate, including our past lives and identities.
Yet the idea of seperation lets us experience things in minute detail. I think dejavu is connected to the idea of singularity, which pretty much makes anything possible like time travel, premonitions and remote viewing.

Well then for all you reincarnation TARDS...

How the fuck do you explain de ja vu occuring at a place that was ONLY built days before??

When I was nine I had a LOT of this sort of thing...and MOST of it happenned in places I could NOT have seen before because until VERY recently..NO one else in history had either.

HOW do you get de ja vu in a place that is brand new???

HOw about the time I moved into a NEW house..NO one had ever lived there..as it had JUST been completed..and WHAM..it hit me HARD..I HAD seen the place before...but there was NO WAY I could have.

Totally fucks over the "Lived before" theory dont it?

i once had a vivid memory , great detail and a scene involving my cousin turning around in the car and saying to me jokingly.. "cfcdee's" ( we were talkin about cd's ). Strangely before he turned around i knew what he was about to say, as i had seemingly had this memory all my life prior to this event. i was in such shock i turned white as a ghost and said you would never imagine the incredible deja vu i just had, i saw the future! i either saw this prior in a dream many many many years before hand, or it was almost like a memory i already had. hard to explain take it for what its worth. lol

What most people don't realize, is that our five senses are adapted to a 4D environment, whereas our brain is a sense organ that can perceive the hidden dimensions wrapped up in a Calabi-Yau like manifold, but has not yet evolved enough to make sense of the experience. It is obvious that there is intelligent life in this hidden space, that most likely has technology that enables travel into the 4 Space projection we inhabit. We ignore it at our peril.

That is very similar to my future memories.

It has always been something really mundane, but too detailed and personal to be confused with anything else.

For years I've said that I'm stuck in a time loop. I don't know about everyone else, but if I'm reincarnating, it's as myself in this time.

dont laugh, but recently ive been having these moments similar to deja vu in a way, and all of the sudden its like i stop and instantly my brain thinks about a few different scenes i have been through in the past... all the while my brain is "seemingly" every time saying look at this scene, you were THERE in THAT MOMENT. and yes, CFCDEEEEE's was just too strange.

I always thought Deja Vu was proof of a continuous expanding and contracting of the universe, meaning you have lived the same life many times over, not reincarnation in the Hindu sense.

Makes sense to me. This is how I try to explain being able to predict the future.

Say someone is saying some numbers... 2...4...6 and then you predict the next one is 8.. and he says 8. Now the universe throws curvballs at you since we have free will so the person could choos to change the pattern and instead of saying 10, he says 9...11...13... and then you can predict the next one to be 15 whiich he says. So we can predict the future based on the past, but we can only predict potential scenarios due to free will. Sometimes, those potential scenariio you think of happens to be the one that is chosen.

It's more of a momentary recognition of the fact that time is an illusion, and that there is only one eternal, present moment. Right now is all there is and all there has ever been and ever will be.

There is no such thing as time.
