I believe you. I think they want to copy the rappers how they dress, all the things they say in the songs about smoking weed, ho's and whatever. A song is like a background to your life. Remember the music we listened to as teens? we smile when we hear it on the radio. Black music is meant to dumb down and keep them down. Without even knowing it, it only perpetuates black stereotypes.


I for one don't let my 11 year old son listen to that. He does not even have an ipod to put that crap on there. He likes classic rock, various genres.I say if you are too embarrassed to listen to music in the same room as your 6 year old brother you have no business in listening to it.
But then again he is probably following the crowd and wanting to fit in.

Take hold of your kid now and make him realize he is not black. It is so silly to see white people bumping rap in their cars. Oh and blacks don't like it either, they see rap as their music and something we can't understand.

first of all not speculation. I LIFE in the us. Been in high school here, in the rough part of town. Plenty of blacks, whites etc. Whites start listening to that but still don't blend in. THey look stupid as whites driving through town with that crap on going boom boom. I grew up listening to Easy-E, NWA, too short and all them back in the day. I ran the streets and that music was our soundtrack when we did drugs, stole cars, jumped people. Don't tell me I speculate about nothing I was probably listening to old school rap before you were even born yet.
I know that there is a culture that is glorified in it and that is a fact. Now tell me otherwise.
