Re: Mankind --- From an Alien Point of View
Just how many species do you know of that have visited earth in the past few thousand years?

Also, i don't remember if anyone has asked this yet so i'll shoot. What is the name of the 'group' you're contacting?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1162891

What I am does not give me complete knowledge. How many mans have been on Earth?

Regarding names, remember we are talking about another species? They have a limited telepathy which allows them to bypass many of the necessities of language. Most written items have symbols which represent thought. Thus a group would have a symbol not a words signifying a name.

Re: Mankind --- From an Alien Point of View
Very good, OP, you're making me think, I like.

Are you saying, then, that more advanced species also have a "fight or flight" response, that it is somehow common in the Universe and that the sign of advance is the control of the second stage?

Also, about the artefacts. We know pretty much how the great cathedrals of Europe were built, with their vaulted ceilings and flying buttresses and so forth. They're within the compass of mankind, as are the Roman amphitheatres and the Roman and Greek temples. What knocks us flat are the older relics, the Stonehenges and Manu Picchus and Great Pyramids etc, not to mention stuff like the Ecuadorian figurines with "pre-Sanskrit" and global inscriptions. Are you saying the the older stuff predates mankind, in other words are non-human structures? That's quite important.

Perhaps what we need is for someone to hold up a mirror to us on a regular basis, which shows us what is beautiful and what is ugly about mankind. Good feedback might get us somewhere.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1086360

All species begin with a fight or flight. As they become more advanced they overcome anger. More advanced still and they bio-genetically eliminate the initial fear response. One more step in advance and they relegate all emotions into a position under the control of logic.

Some predates man as you think of the word. Did you notice in one of my posts where I spoke of man, himself and his peers?

I serve as a mirror, but remember I represent one point of view. It is a good one, but only if you use it with the realization of what I just said. In real life, I make those about me the best that they can be, but there is a range and time limit to the effect. I am sure there are are some who would judge that as a bad thing, but I prefer to see it as a plus for those about me.

The point is man must make some progress on his own. If "they" decided to arrive and make an agreement for trade and culture, they would still not want to decide your fates for you.

Re: Mankind --- From an Alien Point of View
I don't like us all being lumped in together.

Service to Self vs Service to Others.

There are two kinds of people on this earth.

The ETs know this. They also know, they themselves are
divided in the same respect, and have their own problems to overcome.

You should also know this OP.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1128125

You started your post with "I" which is certainly not the best way to speak on behalf of man. And you do not like what, being a man? Currently you are despite your separations. Good, bad, rich, poor, haves, have nots, so many divisions exist to keep you apart.

James 4 of the New International Bible says:

“God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble.”

The advanced races know this. They also know that they themselves are not divided, and have many opportunities to fulfill.

You should know this as you should know your place in a larger universe.

"They" already have, and mainstream us have been left out of the loop...to be controlled and slaved.
I would love to look forward to a day when we all benefited from all the advancement brought forth from our cosmic neighbors, but we have to accept it will not happen....at least till they find more advanced tech....then it will trickle down.
but the only way we will advance out of this shithole,is to pass away from this life....till then we are stuck

Hi,

I was wondering if you could shed any light on the book by Spencer, "Alien Interview"? And how that fits in the world we live in. The "alien" supposedly stated that there are two competing factions in this sector of space, one is an ancient empire and the "alien" was the new empire moving into this sector.

Mankind enslaved himself with his past decisions. I've told you how to make a change which will safely and gradually make your planet a better place. It's a shame you cannot see people and places as I do, at their best potential.

They have not done this to you and they will not free you from your own devices (governments.) I've revealed the source of my information in this thread. Aliens are not the problem. With change, they can help with the solution.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1162891

I do not have their symbol for you. Is this thread titled " All about Aliens" or is it not "Mankind from an alien point of view?" I do not assume that advanced races would allow one such as I to have all knowledge of them. Ask questions about them if you will, but don't expect me to have all answers. Did mankind place all of his knowledge inside the space probe Voyager?

Neuronics, as someone with an agenda has presented it, somewhat resembles the theory behind taxonomy, the scientific classification of lifeforms. An examination of their website suggests that both money and time have been invested which is a curiosity. Why would two casual dimensional travelers do such? One would presume them to have a similar length of life as man on this version of Earth, therefore if you are visiting why would you "open up shop" so to speak?

Why would you advertise? Why would you make a website and suggest the release of apps? Why would you try so hard to inculcate a new way of cataloging things? Why would you invest the time and money? If this system on their version of Earth is better, why would they love it here and be staying? Something has been misstated or left out of the story.

Is this the lead up to a movie? Is it the beginning of a psyop to identify a group of people? Is some young person bored and in possession of too much time and money? What is true?

At least I post from a paid membership so you know that I am not totally unknown. I spend only the cost of membership and post here for reasons stated early in the thread. My agenda is to allow you to see mankind from a viewpoint of his potential promise, beauty as opposed to the ugly, awakening man to how to change his nature, leading to improved function of governments, and hopefully, eventual introduction to visitors from above.

I have no knowledge of this book, though I do generally avoid such books as meaningless since they have a financial interest and thus may enhance the popularity by adding, subtracting, or inventing. The book sells for $18 at Amazon so there is some money to be made by the writer.

There do exist small grays somewhat similar to what is described in an chapter one extract.

What impresses the Aliens the most about humans is when humans rise to the occasion....

Exactly. They're fucking perverts.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1129155

Sorry you are so far from the truth. Man perverts. He crushes his own kind even when it serves no useful purpose. He has no government on earth currently compatible with true advancement. All current governments enslave their people for the will and enrichment of a select few. ALL.

People in my opinion are de-evolving. they are mainly selfish, greedy, arrogant, they live their lives full of lies. They would rather stab each other in the back, if it doesn't benefit them. We don't care now for each other any more, only what is in it for us. We revel in violence and call it entertainment. We have eyes yet don't see what we are doing so, I don't see people changing for the better only getting worse. If we all don't change and carry on as we are, what do you see happening to the human race, do you think we will wipe ourselves out again or do you see things getting better?
what a selfish race we have become!

Many strange items and settlements have been found scattered about the planet. Some things vanish into secret collections. Have governments and scientists, or religions and the Vatican, withheld information from the people, information which would work against those groups purpose?

I imagine that all kinds of quite empowering stuff is stashed away in government or private hands. The tiles around the Pope's bath depict the signs of the astrological zodiac; the Vatican has the largest collection of literature on astrology in the world, safely out of reach of the masses.

Some things have escaped the net, especially ancient Chinese works like the I Ching, the Tao Te Ching and The Art of War. These are books that I've gained most refinement from, I suppose, over the years. Assuming other parts of the world had equally profound works now hidden, then we have indeed been robbed.

Make the small world around you a better place. By that I mean wherever you are in your daily life, make others happy to be around you. Cheer up their mundane day. Help them when they need assistance, especially if they ask for it!

Smile and feel the energy you impart to others. This simple thing will give you great power to change the world around you.

Enjoy each day, tho the same it is different. Find and have peace within yourself.

The way I use it synthesis refers to a combination of two or more racial and or ethnic groups that together form something new, a singular unified group drawing strength and comfort from the similarities while learning from and celebrating the differences.

The point of the bible was to leave a record for mankind to understand their relationship with god...and to love their fellow man.

If you perceive mankind as a poisonous creature...mankind WILL be that poisonous creature...because people without the understanding of self created it that way. Acertain the knowledge that we are creators and take responsibility as such.

The challenge is how can the advanced races evaluate man? If done so by the laws and concepts of man, then man violates and fails his own kind. If done by the concepts of advanced races, then man again fails.

My purpose is and has been to lift man up to a higher existence, one where he can join a bigger universe with knowledge of such.

It's really important, and I suppose that I've been inspired by all the sci-fi I read nearly 40 years ago, that we try to take an off-planet view of ourselves and neutrally examine how we behave. I've had that idea for a long long time and thought, well, we should sanity-check what we do from outside the box before we screw up yet again.
