How do you know somebody is looking at you from behind, or that your best friend is going to call ?

When I was growing up, all the people around me always talked about " vibes " and " I'm in tune with that ", et al, which later in life seems to agree somewhat with things like broadcast technology and wireless energy transmissions. Radios are pretty simple devices based on complex principle. We are too, so why do things like this get ignored so often ?

I think that people tend to discount intuitive knowledge, with careless nonchalance, ignoring completely that most, if not all great scientific and spiritual discoveries all came from a hunch, or somebody following an intuition.

Some how, the churches can acknowledge the " spirit of the Christ " as some would say, that can " come into a person's life " Science says that an oscillator will oscillate with an incoming frequency to absorb it's energy, why would a human mind not ?

There are more questions than answers.

I thought I clarified in the op, but I am not referring to channeling only in the sense that people typically think of it but in all forms including ouija and evp's as well.

For some reason, the "other realms" have been completely useless. And if you raise these questions, you get answers like "That's not how it works."
