Please be CAREFUL with people food! Many foods such as chocolate (as most know) can be poison to your dog as well as grapes! Also, many of the seasoning in people food can hurt their very sensitive tummies! It is often tempting to humanize them, as they are so very cute and have such expressive faces...and those eyebrows!! I know it's cute- but giving your dog people food can also lead to begging. Not a desirable quality in a pet. Or in my situation a service dog. Cyrus, Service Dog Extraordinaire, can indeed get morsels at a diner under the table, (he's a smart stinker of a yellow lab). Here's the real trouble- Once you actually give your dog people food, it's unfair to correct him/her later. You set him/her up. You created the problem. It's YOUR fault, the next time you decide he/she shouldn't have any. Please think ahead & don't set your dog up to disappoint you for your choices.
